So I love a good open world game. Played a lot of Skyrim on 360, so not too interested in getting that again. Fallout 4 seems too similar, not sure I'm into playing another game set mainly in abandoned wasteland.

Are there any open world games out there for the Xbox One? Recommendations welcome, and don't have to be new games, chances are if they've been out in last couple of years, I haven't played them yet...

Witcher 3. Possibly the best game I've ever played

PC gamers - AMD RX 480 looking a good replacement gpu if you only use single monitor
at 1080p. I would say 1070 is overkill.

aye. Im going to build a PC in a couple of weeks, and if Nvidia dont announce a 1060 at a similiar performance/price tag (rumour is there going to push it for release this month to compete with the rx 480) ill be getting a 480

I'd never heard of The Witcher, having watched that video I am not sure I'd like it.  What do you reckon if I like games like Fallout 4, Uncharted, GTA...

Pretty much no one had heard of the witcher until witcher 3 came out, its an open world RPG, similar to fallout, GTA and Skyrim, although much closer to Skyrim due to the historical fantasy setting, combat style is very similar to bloodborne (although no where near as difficult) rather than the typical 'hack and slash' of most RPG games. you actually have to think about it (although not much). As far as any game I've ever played it has one of the strongest stories I've experienced, the quality of the storyline in witcher 3 blows that of most other open world RPGs like Skyrim out of the water. The game world is great, huge and interactive

i think the best way to describe the 'feel' for the witcher is if I compared it to games like Skyrim, fallout and GTA, they don't have strong storylines and focus more on the gameplay. Skyrim and GTA are great for throwing fireballs, shooting dragons, blowing up cars, diving bombing planes, beating up fat people and generally messing around whereas witcher, although is fun to play places much more emphasis on having a reason to what your doing, and enjoying the flow of action. I really cannot give enough praise to the story in witcher 3, even the side quests are rich in detail and outmatch the main quests of Skyrim, however you can't really piss around in witcher and it does take a while to get yourself familiar with the controls and layout, although highly pleasing once you do.

I brought the Witcher with all the DLC's etc played it for about 8 hours collecting the '?' etc but got bored. Might have to get my moneys worth now my friends have gone to play Overwatch.. =[

It's one of the most in depth and enjoyable games ive ever played, took me a while to get into it but once I did I absolutely loved it. Get used to the fighting and mechanics of the game and you should enjoy it.

what I would recommend is not to go chasing the ?'s on the map. Moving from point a to b isn't very exciting. Play the storyline, it's incredibly in depth. Some of the side quests are so good you forget that they are side quests and not part of the main plot

  5. Got myself a ps4 recently and bought some of its exclusive games among others.

bloodborne - my God is this hard, I've put in about 3-4 hours and I haven't cleared the first proper level yet, the gameplay is good and I enjoy the fighting and the challenging aspect.but the lack of checkpoints makes it really repetitive when your fighting past that same group of villagers camped around a fire for the 15th time because every time you die you start the level all over again and can't pickup anywhere near where you were killed.

Uncharted -played a couple of levels and was about what I expected, very similar to the tomb raider games I used to play on the old ps2, some good puzzles you have to think about, can't really say much since I haven't played that much about it

just started the last of us remastered, and I've got to say I'm thoroughly enjoying it, some great storytelling in it, it's like a film wrapped in gameplay .got real depth and attention.Trying to navigate through a dark derelict building full of infected humans can be unexpectadly scary. So far one of the best and most enjoyable games I've played in a long time

  6. There's a few mobile games that i've actually enjoyed.... DrawRace and Score! World Cup were two of them!

ive got score hero on my iphone currently, its a good game, although its damn annoying when you get to a level where there are 4 stages, c*ck up on the last stage then have to restart the whole level again only to find out you've ran out of energy!
