We'll be back in 81 got a reaction from Derby4Me in South stand!!
I don't know why they do not reduce the away section to say two an a half thousand, its not as if it gets filled very often therefore allowing more of the south stand to Derby fans. Also the disabled section in the bottom left could be moved to the lower section of the Gordon Guthrie stand if developed into one as again that area is not used much. If rail seating is introduced then this could further add a couple of thousand more.

Every time i watch the highlights i always think its a shame the south stand isnt widened to the whole of the stand and up until the south east corner, then have the away fans along the side of the east stand!
Theres high demand for tickets in it as it always sells out, its great for the atmosphere! With all the flags the last few games it would look even better having the entire stand as home supporters!
I get that season ticket holders in the east stand and there higher ticket prices over there but still, reckon it would increase the atmosphere!
    Up the rams 🐏⚽️🐏⚽️

The most depressing thing about days like today is not the performance which was awful but the fans reaction to it.
Promotion is won over a season. At Bristol we looked like a promotion team. This day we looked bottom half. That’s why overreacting to either game is ridiculous. But the “pitchforks out” reaction after every game we lose is just soooo tedious and it’s always the same people.

I am humble and can accept we may have had the rub of the green on 9 occasions but then again as they say you make your own luck, especially over 46 games, anyway I am loving it and feel very good and content this morning., probably not as good as when Craig Bryson scored a hatrick against notts forrist in the 5-0 thrashing.
Let's hope this lucky streak continues. Up the mighty Rams.

From what the Peterborough fans said when we signed him, he mostly played as a winger for them, and when he did play at wingback he wasn't as good.  It doesn't really matter though where he played for them though - he's clearly not good enough defensively to play wingback IMO.  And it's the same with Wilson - AFAIK he did play there for them, but he's not good enough defensively to play wingback every week for a team that wants to be getting promoted from this league.  It's like describing Louis Sibley as a wingback by trade because he's played there a bunch of times for us - he clearly isn't one either.  NML and Barkhuizen both played as wingbacks at their previous clubs  - again they clearly aren't wingbacks.
If you want to play wingbacks, you *have* to have players that can play that position properly - it's the most important part of that setup - and if you don't have them you are going to get killed on one side of the game or the other (defensively or offensively).  There will be games where you can get away with it (like yesterday), but you can't get away with it every game if you want to be winning things.

    P.G Wodehouse match report.
Ah, what a delightful spectacle unfolded at Pride Park! A veritable symphony of footballing finesse, where the dashing Derby County lads displayed a masterclass in the art of the beautiful game. With a flick of his coiffed locks, Sibbo graced the pitch with his goal-scoring prowess, each strike a testament to his sartorial elegance. And who could overlook the Padel maestro Gayle, whose header soared through the air like a swan taking flight, leaving the poor Port Vale defence in disarray.

But it was not just in attack where the Rams shone; oh no, their defensive acumen was equally sublime. Cashin, a veritable bastion of impregnability, rebuffed his opponents' advances with the ease of a vegetarian plucking a stray caterpillar from his salad.
And let us not forget the spirited Sonny, whose exuberant arm-waving would have put even the most robust of policemen on point duty to shame.
Under the astute guidance of Warne, the tactical maestro with a bobble hat perched jauntily atop his brow, Derby County danced their way to victory, leaving their opponents in awe. And amidst the jubilation, let us extend a hearty commendation to Ebou Adams, whose display on the field was reminiscent of the legendary Mick McManus himself. Truly, it was a day to remember, where the spirit of camaraderie and sporting excellence reigned supreme.

I do see what everyone’s saying, that’s my point, there can’t even be a calm objective chat about how we might like to see the side line up before the game tomorrow without people making their thoughts on Warne repeatedly known.
I have long since accepted Warne is the manager, posters who can’t accept that repeatedly and REPEATEDLY shouting about him and his approach across every thread isn’t changing that fact, it just makes the forum pretty much unreadable. There can’t be any dialogue without people jumping in with digs about Warne, it’s pretty much an echo chamber of the same comments on here at the moment regardless of what the thread is supposed to be about.

Also my earlier post says I want us set up to have a go and win comfortably. I don’t think it’s how Warne will set us up but it’s sometimes just nice trying to discuss the team and the prospects for tomorrow without the negativity.

My opinion is the manager is doing a great job with with a squad of free transfers put together in a short space of time compared to some other clubs that have been able to spend money over a longer period of time.
Keep it going, up the Rams.

Yes the reality is when we get a load of free transfers at league one level the quality will be league one standard without the quality everyone wants.
It is quite remarkable we are in second place when other clubs below us have spent some reasonable sums for players. So well done to the coaching and recruitment staff so far.

We will sort it because of the great support DCFC get which will allow us to invest in better quality players going forward which will result in being overrun for less than 20 mins in the future. Hope this helps.

Be interesting to hear what they had to say. Could radio Derby get on to it.
This is what the fans really want to know.
