PS Before you start calling people out for not attending: I had 2 season tickets almost every year since '68. So at a rough estimate I've probably spent over £20k on the Rams.

This summer we got refunded from 3 days booked in Disneyland Paris, and used the money to have 4 nights at Chessington, including a trip into London to see lion king, 2 nights in Lego labs in the way home, and still had change to take my eldest to Alton towers on her under day. Best summer ever.
Also, I took my two youngest to Drayton manor a couple of years ago for free. Kids under 5 go free, military discount is free. And we got in early, so they let me win one of the games.
tesco points and carex adults go free goes a long way too.

Socially we are poo as a species now. Roles and responsibilities, everyone expects someone else to pick up their slack.
I remember when we first had Medium Angry, I was poo scared of not being a good dad and not providing for the family. I may be an old fart but some old standards are hard to beat. You have role and you take it seriously.
I'm no expert mind, just my view from the outside.
Question for the better informed.
Is it worse in any particular demographic?
