BriggRam reacted to WestStandStartTheBounce in Pre match build up
Given the size of the crowd and the symbolic importance of the game on Sunday can the club adjust the pre match build up. Instead of having the pa blare out music why not stop the music five minutes before kick off and let the fans take control. The sound of the crowd would be far more inspiring and impactful on the players than the music. Let them feel the atmosphere before they come out the tunnel.

This has got Parry, on the phone to his chums at SSN, to put this story out again, to put us in the spotlight for bad reasons again and deflect the growing scorn at the poo show he is in charge off.........running scared

BriggRam reacted to Tombo in Wayne Rooney
Not just him but this whole squad.
This Derby team will likely win us no trophies, no silverware or medals, provide no glorious drubbings or incredible winning runs. Yet they are among my favourite Derby sides to watch and they make me as proud as any Derby team I've ever seen.
And Wayne leads them. He has created a truly iconic, historic, heroic squad that I will never forget.
If this is the last ever Derby County squad we see in its current incarnation, then they're the best you could realistically hope for. If the club died, we'd be going out in a blaze of glory

BriggRam reacted to WestStandStartTheBounce in Tickets on sale
What I don't get with the ticketing is how there are individual seats. When I have tried to book tickets in the past it won't let you book if it leaves a seat on its own.

@RadioactiveWaste, @Ghost of Clough, thanks both.
Some good news for today, at least!

Rooney:
"I've just come off the phone with them (administrators) five mins ago. Where we are at, there is no big update I can give you.
There will be no players leaving.
They have reassured me Tom Lawrence will not be going and that is pleasing because he is a player I want to keep.
Everton approached my agent and asked me to interview for the vacant job which I turned down. I have a job here I am doing, which is an important job to me and that means me getting the team ready for Sunday."

Wonder what would happen if players from that QPR game actually did send in letters threatening to sue the EFL......wonder if they would be told to go directly after QPR, wow, Pandora's Box could well and trully have unwittingly been opened

Seeing as the fact that EFL regs not being updated was specifically highlighted in the parliamentary debate, I’d hope that they’d be pointing out that not being up to date with two year old statute is more a case of their negligence rather than arbitration.
As someone has mentioned before, we should be submitting claims against QPR and anyone else who was found guilty of FFP breaches (Bournemouth?) - with same arguments as the Boro claim - so that the EFL don’t immediately change the rules after we’re ducked. They would be baseless nonsense, but that’s the point.
