It could be to do with OB and Gibson jointing DCFC media and leaving Radio Derby? Poacher turned gamekeeper scenario?

Relying on too many average academy players (who because they are ours and with rose tinted glasses we think they are the class of 92.....they are not). Spending all available cash on a forward option who doesn’t score and or create. Losing Marriott and losing Martin without replacing them with any quality. Keeping  coach’s who are not good enough.

Last season we were 1 maybe 2 strikers short, we then released  Martin and loaned out Marriott. We are massively short up top and that has been reflected in the goals scored column. Goals conceded is probably mid/lower mid table. Our lack of cutting edge has put too much focus and pressure on our defence.

Madness Marriott is only 26, with some good man management he could still do a job for us.

    Que sera sera
Stay up and we’ll have a party, the talk will be of new owners, new managers, clear outs, Bielik coming back
Go down and we’ll be miserable, we will have to endure the baiting from down the A52 but we will still be playing football. It’s a game of 11 v 11. A full stadium and us hitting the back of the net ..it will happen, it will be ok (we’ll mostly) we will renew our vows. The club is bigger than a player a manager an owner or even a building .. it’s part of our fabric of life. It’s a bit worn, tired and under maintained at the moment, but it’s still ours and it isn’t going away no matter who we play on Saturday at 3.00

    meanwhile .. come on Luton

All comes down to the manager situation - continuation and stability.
Thinking back over the last few years, we never seem to have had a settled manager for a good long time .. 21st Century info below from wiki ...
if you look at the duration of our managers it's like ONE CALENDAR YEAR mostly, okay you could break it down to seasons and transfer windows etc ... but flat numbers show about one year  ..
Exceptions - Bald Eagle, Burley, Nige, Mac 1, and in my opinion we were more solid for sure under those guys. I would certainly feel better about next Saturday with one of them at the helm right now.

Easy...Whoever made the catastrophic decision to get rid of our strikers, leave us with a past sell by date Waghorn and a bargain basement CKZ.

How did we let that slip, the blame has to sit on one mans desk and one man only. Taking of Joz was unbelievable, I just don’t get anything he does. Jesus  were actually going down aren’t we

Also a different perspective if Rotherham draw at Luton and then beat Cardiff we then need to beat the Wendies, a really totally different perspective. Let’s keep it nice and simple and hope that all we need is a draw v Wednesday, that is a big enough challenge me thinks...

Can’t get behind that that idea, it means it’s not in our hands on Sunday.
But I do appreciate the perspective. We can’t effect the result either way, so if Rotherham do win, there’s a small upside. And it would be a massive turn up if Rotherham could suddenly take 6pts from their last 2 games. Winning on Tuesday makes it seem very unlikely that they’d win again on Sunday.
But if they don’t win, then both Wednesday and Rotherham need a win on Sunday. We just need to contain Wednesday. Can they go all out attack without leaving gaps at the back? That’s not their style. Can we exploit those gaps?
I prefer our odds in that situation.

Not sure it is, Rotherham win and Wednesday have nothing to play for Saturday which gives us a distinct advantage. Rotherham then have match or better our result, and do this against Cardiff who are a tough side. A draw or loss Tuesday however keeps all 3 horses in the race. Let’s just hope and pray what ever happens we win Saturday.

Why Wayne took him off baffles me. If he wanted to bring Roberts on, I would switched him to the left brought Lawrence in behind CKR and subbed Waghorn
