One man's petty bickering is another man's calling out the handful of people who post the same dire drivel in every matchday thread. I went for it tonight as I, for once, watched the game on RamsTV. As i expected, the abject negativity is totally overblown and pathetic. 6 wins and 1 draw from 7 now. Thank god these posters are not at the game itself.
And saying that you hate our manager is a disgrace at any point, let alone after a solid first half where only a stupid tackle prevented us going in 1 up.

How can you “hate” a person for just trying to do his job however bad you think he is at it?

I really can’t think of anyone I actually hate least of all someone I’ve never even met.

When I heard this sad news last night, I was absolutely gutted, B4 was such a positive man, an optimist in times of mediocrity, a true believer who only faltered once, when we were on the brink 16 months ago. The thought of losing his beloved Rams, filled him with dread.
However, it is only tonight, reading everyone's tributes, with an unashamed tear rolling down my cheek, that the bigger picture emerged. Tales of chats at service stations and concourses, his passion at at games and most tellingly, the private messages of encouragement or empathy when other posters were going through a tough time. Even when he had his own troubles, which would have left most of us exhausted and probably would have prevented all of us attaining his relentless positivity.
The reason behind those chats and messages, as well as good human nature, is we are family. We have something which binds us together, a shared love, a community. We live in a polarised society, where politicians, media and social media seek to expose and amplify any divisions and isolate us. However, we have an attachment, a forum, a club, a badge, a team to rally round and no-one rallied round The Rams more than B4. For those, like B4, who may find life hasn't always been kind or easy, that sense of attachment is even stronger and more important.
They say you die twice in life, once when you stop breathing and again when people stop remembering you. Daniel, we will remember you, we will remember your rallying cries, your kindness to others and most of all the purity of your faith for the team you love.

Currently we have a weaker squad than last year, possibly the weakest in my lifetime and I'm 66. So highly unlikely to be much above mid table. Recruitment has been poor - how much of that is PW's responsibility is hard to know.
So we have no option IMO than be patient, wait for finances to improve, maybe look at next year or year after as feasible promotion possibilities. I see no point in changing the manager.

Very possible the old guy was doing the standard stuff as opposed to the vile stuff sharp has had but sometimes you just don’t know what people who react in an over the top way are going through or where they’re head is at that time , sometimes we react to stuff and it’s not the actual stuff that’s the main cause it’s just the straw 🤷🏻‍♂️,
Sorry for your loss and your certainty qualified to comment , as in truth most of us are , very few of us go through life untouched by some of the heartbreak it can throw at us

Yep I’ve lived the experience of losing a child too and that’s maybe why I cut sharp a bit of slack , for me it’s not just the direct abuse he has taken and responded to , what I felt for a long time was I hated being around people who got / get stressed , angry , up tight , ect ect ect over stuff that in my position I felt was duck all ( I know everything is relative ) and I could bubble inside and want to strangle them ,
I don’t know how recent your loss is and I know there’s bugger all anybody can say that really helps , all I can offer you is my experience and the conclusion I am at now which is , you never get over it but rather you learn to survive it and there does come a time when you can allow yourself to feel happy without feeling guilty about being happy ,

I think that can be Collins/Waghorn/Washington for now. Not everyone shares that opinion, but for me I would rather those 3 and a younger more mobile loanee, secured once the loan market opens up a bit more, than Sharp or Rhodes.
Then the wages earmarked for the rumoured older strikers could be used to tempt a couple of the younger remaining free agents to join the club at lwb or cb and in midfield.
Just my thoughts of course, well aware not everyone (or anyone) will agree.

Well, its all gone a bit pear-shaped since I moved to the coast and gave up my season ticket - and for that, I humbly apologise 😛
In all seriousness, I think top 6 this season would have been a good finish - and despite our current form, thats not completely off the table yet.  We threw a squad together at the last minute, bought in new management part way through the season and couldn't strengthen as other clubs did during the winter transfer window.
Despite the minor meltdown some people are having, personally I don't think we've ever been promotion candidates this season and remain confident that we'll recruit better during the summer and be real contenders next season.

These are not his players and we have been reduced to frees and loans with no fees. We went on a 18 unbeaten run. Going up this season was always going to be a struggle with such a small squad. Least let’s see if we can have a crack at playoffs and if not get the restrictions eased and have a proper pre season and let him get in his players
