  1. Vickers Nyambe Nelson Cashin Sibley Fornah Thompson Bird Wilson Collins NML (Wildsmith, Ward, Bradley, Robinson, Hourihane, Barkhuizen, CBT) Think mine is identical to @Waghorny apart from the keepers.
  2. Received treatment and replaced by a sub. Rather than make his way to the bench he tried to make a quick run down the tunnel. And didn't manage that very well.
  3. So much this @Comrade 86. Possibly my favourite player. I think he has goals in him too.
  4. ATG Vickers.....steady enough and a couple of key, if not difficult, stops..... 6.5 Wilson.....couldn't do anything right early on but kept at it. Decent ball to release NML for the winner. Possible role at #10 maybe?..... 5 Nelson.....always seems to be one of our better performers..... 6.5 Cashin.....better than previous two performances but passing still awry..... 6 Sibley.....deserves credit for a decent effort in a role he isn't ideally suited to..... 6 Barkhuizen.....had some decent moments..... 6 Hourihane.....not for me and surely Warne can't continue to pick him..... 4 Fornah.....improved us when introduced..... 6.5 Bird 🦅.....super goal and would surely benefit from a change in the midfield personnel..... 6.5 Bradley.....has been a composed and steadying influence in recent appearances. Decent and simple passing too..... 6.5 Blackett-Taylor.....if I'm generous I'll say he didn't seem to know what his role was and/or is getting used to different teammates. Anonymous and rightly withdrawn..... 4 Thompson.....needs to start matches..... 6 Méndez-Laing.....not at his best but posed a threat and tried to be positive at least..... 6.5 Collins.....was born offside. We create so little for him and I'd wager that his goals tally exceeds his personal xG. Fantastic finish from one of just two half-chances..... 7 (MOTM)
  5. Rams TV Vickers - Didn't make any errors and punched clear well enough 6.5 Wilson - Could play further forward to give NML a breather maybe? A couple of decent moments but not on the ball enough in the attacking third 6.5 Bradley - Late runaround 6 Nelson - Steady 6.5 Cashin - Yeah, not great again. Never hides or stops trying to find a teammate 6 Elder - MOTM for Derby. Showing more going forward of late 7 Hourihane - My whelm remains at under. I thought we were getting a L1 Zidane but he doesn't merit a starting place imo 5 Ward - Not much time to shine. Not as good defensively as Nyambe or Wilson and not as good offensively as Wilson or NML. Cameo appearances and hopefully a few wicked assists it is then 6 Bird - Needs to dictate play from the middle. Would probably fare better without Hourihane alongside him 5.5 Barkhuizen - Typical Barkhuizen performance where he flatters to deceive 6 Blackett-Taylor - Glimpse of what he can offer when he cut inside and shot wide. Will surely start on Saturday 6 Thompson - Our best and most involved CM yet subbed off. Given a run of starts I feel he'd be influential 6.5 Sibley - 5.5 Méndez-Laing - Some nice flicks but not at his marauding best. Could probably benefit from a rest vs Cheltenham and explode from the bench if needed 6 Collins - Works tirelessly but never truly threatened to score 6 John-Jules - I rate him as a #9 but he's crocked again by the look of it. Hopefully we get him fit for the run in 6.5
  6. Very disappointing performance. I'm not going to rage against PW or be wise after the event but of our three CM's was Thompson really the one to come off first? He offers more mobility than the other two and possibly more of a goal threat too given his energy levels. I would have put Robinson in at DM with the ever-underwhelming Hourihane making way for him. Easy for me to sit here playing pretend manager but I honestly don't think we're bound for the automatic spots and if we made the playoff final the thought of Bird and Hourihane as a duo on that big Wembley pitch is a serious concern. We couldn't ask for a better bounce-back opportunity than a home match against a relegation threatened side but Cheltenham are much improved in fairness. On a positive note, Callum Elder was a deserved Rams' MOTM and he's improving with regular games.
  7. Give it 15/20 mins and if it's still not going our way I'd like to see multiple subs on together: Robinson >< Hourihane John-Jules >< Collins CBT >< Barkhuizen
  8. Vickers Ward Nelson Cashin Elder Bird Thompson Hourihane Wilson TJJ NML (Wildsmith, Smith, Bradley, Sibley, Robinson, Barkhuizen, Collins) Not keen on Ward at RB against stronger sides but prefer to see Wilson further forward. Thompson is excellent imo and we need an extra man centrally anyway. Lets see what TJJ can do as the #9.
  9. Is there a strong wind there? @DarkFruitsRam7 not included.
  10. I'm watching it and Carlisle could be 4-0 up. Barnsley's defence and keeper look drunk.

  12. Cheers. Love your academy contributions - they are much appreciated by others too I'm sure.
  13. Are any of these lads close to the matchday 18 do we think? In terms of ability that is. Or do they need a spell on loan first?
  14. Cheers GoC. Against Notts County I assume.
  15. What match is this? U21 games are usually featured on Flash Scores. Is it a friendly?
  16. Early morning thoughts from me..... 1. That's W9 D1 L1 in the last 11 league games. We'd all like to see us playing like the Brazil '70 team but we're in league one and still recovering from the Mel Morris induced meltdown. We're doing okay. 2. We need to play with three in the middle which would be Thompson, Bird and Hourihane for me. 3. TJJ's best asset is his first touch in the box and ability to get a shot away. He's not as effective out wide or playing deeper. Collins deserves to start up top given his run of goals but TJJ should either directly replace him as a sub or play alongside him up top and central with a view to getting him in the box as often as possible. 4. Vickers isn't overly convincing but he can be forgiven for not being at 100% in all areas given the personal upheaval he's experienced recently. None of us would be immune from a dip in performance levels in his boots. 6. What happened to number 5? 5. It's early morning Rampant, relax. I'm here. 7. What's the deal with Fozzy? Injured?
  17. There is no chance of anyone bidding £2m for Washington. Even 200k would be surprising given his age etc.
  18. Ha - yeah, I know. Reckless days and boy did we suffer the consequences.
  19. This thread has reminded me that we once paid £3m for Florian Jozefzoon.
  20. Probably fair to say that none of Ward, Fornah or Sibley advanced their claim to be starting league matches.
  21. Wildsmith Ward Nelson Cashin Elder Robinson Thompson Fornah Barkz Collins Sibley Vickers, Cox, Wilson, Bradley, Smith, John-Jules, Brown
