I haven't posted on here for ages as have been busy with work etc but feeling a bit emotional tonight. The EFL, Middlesbrough, and Wycombe will all be stains on football forever if they allow this to happen. But if the worst case scenario happens we'll be a phoenix club cheered on by an entire city. And we will bounce all the way back. By the time we're back in the Championship, the EFL will have been declared not fit for purpose, Wycombe will still be a tinpot League 1 team, and Steve Gibson will still be a Bamford.
I've never supported Derby expecting us to win anything, that's boring, I support the club because it's always been a shared passion I have with my Dad and my family all come from Derby. I don't want that to be taken away from me, and I know DCFC matters even more to lots of the members of this forum.

He’s approaching cult hero status for me. Put his body on the line last game of the season and has now signed for (comparative) peanuts. I get the feeling he has a real affinity for the club and wants to help out. He’s a genuinely good human being.

Ok, so if we can bring in 5 players, I think it makes sense that 2 would be Wisdom and Davies. They both know the club well and have performed in the past. Wisdom gives us versatility and Davies leadership.
Then we’d need another CB - Mengi or Jagielka, personally I’d pick Mengi as I see him as a better partner for Davies whose pace can make a huge difference - plus space for 2 more outfield players. I wouldn’t take the risk on Morrison in this scenario - if he goes off the boil again we’ve wasted that slot - so would go for Aluko & Baldock instead.

Only 3 players from the squad who're over the age of 28 - Walker and Henderson (31) and Trippier (30). Next on the list is Coady, Maguire, Mings and Johnstone (all 28).
The core of this squad will be together for at least the next 3 tournaments - The likes of Chilwell, Rashford, Mount, Rices, James, Sancho and Foden will only just be hitting their prime by that 3rd one, being 24 or younger now. Bellingham will only be 22 when North America host the World Cup in '26.
Then there's also the ones who missed out on this competition. Abraham, Alexander-Arnold, Greenwood, Tomori, Hudson-Odoi, Gomez. The depth and competition for those future tournaments will only become more intense.

I have emailed the sports minister and the football governance review body and my local MP, in case Crouchy won’t deal with my email as I’m not a constituent.
I think all Rams fans should do the same, as the EFL is out of control and not showing any fairness in its approach.
    Every bit helps !!

I would ask you urgently to intervene in the witch-hunt being undertaken by the EFL towards my football club, Derby County.
Having been fined £100 000 yesterday and warned re future accounting practices, following investigation by an independent panel ( for the second time), the EFL continue to press for a points deduction, with an unprecedented aim to relegate the club after the season has finished.
What is the point of an independent panel if its decision is not respected by the regulator ?
I feel the EFL is out of control, is being heavily influenced by third parties and is therefore not acting in a fair and unbiased way.
The EFL needs to be warned by the government about its behaviour towards its member clubs. Currently its approach is verging on bullying and I suspect it will end in the High Court, with the destruction of a founder member of the football league and hundreds of associated redundancies.
