Eatonram got a reaction from Nishfan in DCFC in Europe scrapbook
At the first game in Europe, I was on the Pop Side with my Dad as usual, but also, because of the special occasion, my mum came along too. On this night the Club did what was an unusual gesture, the Stewards just before the game, walked around the pitch side with beauquets of flowers to give to female supporters....my mum, not one to stand back, got to the front of the terrace held out her hands and claimed the flowers. Strange memory but true. I saw all the home games of that first European campaign...what days.

If there is anyone deserving of a “free” season ticket from the club it must be B4. His enthusiasm for the club during the bleakest of times should be rewarded and if he genuinely can’t afford to renew I would hope the club would help out.

It isn’t funny, it’s so so weird and I’m pretty sure the players don’t find it amusing either.

Having a curious look on Owlstalk it seems they are home and dry, that 8 point gap with 18 games to play is irrelevent as they are now unbeatable it seems.................they could be right of course, I guess we will have to wait and see.

Was probably wrong in saying the only reason for the business plan is restricting our ability to compete, clearly they want us to demonstrate we can run properly and pay the bills, but it’s as much about restricting our ability to compete as ensuring we’re run sustainably. The skeleton plan as you say is probably what has the stipulations of no transfer fees or loan fees and wage caps the Derby bit is stating what the budget is and how they will meet it.
Parry bangs on about the integrity of the league. Clubs won’t want a Leicester where they wipe their debts through administration and then assemble a team that got promoted, my argument is with the FFP war against us plus the administration points penalty, not allowing us to pay loan or transfer fees on top is disproportionate. Integrity of the league has already been achieved through relegating Derby into a league they shouldn’t be in, history tells us that.

Eatonram reacted to uttoxram75 in Paul Warne appointed as Head Coach
Derby fans have been behind Paul Warne from the first match. The support from the fans at the matches has been loud and proud  from day one.
I think some people make the mistake of thinking a dozen posts on a forum is representative of the match going fans. Its not. The forum gives people the chance to voice their concerns or opinions, being at the game tends to bring out the positivity to support DCFC whoever is in charge.
Only a couple of hundred actually post on here regularly, 25,000 turn up week in week out and support the team and manager.
I'm not sure why some are trying to make a case that us fans are not behind Warney.
Most of us were behind Rooney and believed he did a tremendous job in the most horrendous circumstances. One or two didn't like him and thats fine but the noise and love from the stands made it clear that the match going fans appreciated him and the respect and effort he got from the players.
The Rooney song was one of the loudest and proudest songs to be heard at PP.
You will always get a few who criticise the manager, even Clough, Mackay, Arthur and Jim had their detractors, it doesn't really matter, as long as we get behind the team and manager at every game.

    Who are being punished?
    The fans? Wasn’t our fault.
Clowes? Wasn’t his fault, in fact, he should be rewarded
This punishment serves a regime that is long long gone and does nothing more. It’s pathetic.

Doesn't have to be big fees I'm referring to. The pool of players available on free transfers is very limiting. The result of the EFL sanctions from the last few years is that our squad was decimated- continuing an embargo so that we cannot properly replenish, aside from the perceived cast-offs who are not contracted to a club, seems harsh. I don't understand why the business plan explicitly excludes spending fees, why not allow us to spend fees that fall inside an outlined business plan? It's the black and white nature of ruling out fees altogether I'm not sure I agree with.
Basically, at the minute, we're relying on other clubs not wanting a player, to be able to recruit them; and for a club that desperately needs to expand its squad, that seems an unnecessary restriction.

We need an away win and this is a great opportunity. To many winnable games in the first half of season have ended in draws and that has cost us.
Personally I still feel the autos are achievable but only if we win games such as this.

One of the best things I can advise is to break everything down into manageable sizes , there were times when it was case of me not having a drink for the next ten minutes , then the next ten ,it turns into days ,weeks , years ,
same goes for life’s problems ( they don’t go away just because we stop drinking though there are far less of them we create through drinking) , most of us alcoholic/ addicts have what I call washing machine heads, always spinning, this problem that problem this scenario that scenario, I’ve learned to pick one problem at a time to deal with , if I don’t I see all the problems and get swamped
