Until the last U23 game he played in he has looked utterly ordinary.
In that last game he wasted more chances than he scored - maybe, just maybe he has some learning to do?

This is pure conjecture but Wayne might judge players with natural ability more harshly than others. He was prodigiously talented but if you ever read united fans comments about Rooney nearly everyone to a man/woman rates him as he of their favourite ever players due to his work rate and commitment. It could rankle with him if he sees more naturally gifted players not just working hard but being the hardest working players in training/games. One thing I notice with Sibley is that until he has the ball his body language is quite laconic, almost the exact opposite of Knight who always appears more alert and on his toes as it were. I love players like Louie and would love to see him make it here but this is how it goes with some players.

Could be but I'm none too arsed if it means the club will continue to exist.

2021 hasn't been easy for a lot of people, even tougher for us Derby County fans that have had to endure and will continue to do so the sleepless nights with the unthinkable, the threat of our club facing possible liquidation.
I just wanted to wish you all a Happy New Year, without you, this community would not be here, the community that has allowed fans from not just around the country, but the world to come together and help each other through these difficult times and I'm sure will continue to do so through next year and beyond.
For any players, management, staff, anyone connected to the club that may also be reading this, Happy New Year to you also, I can only speak for myself, but I'm sure many others will agree, you are all making us so proud to be a Ram, we cannot ask anymore from you.
    Let's all go and smash 2022 ?

That’s true. QPR had some great movement. Overall, they deserved it. Derby didn’t do enough and the lack of strikers and firepower really showed in the second half. No shame losing to QPR but disappointing after going ahead.

If we get beaten by Fulham this thread will get the full ‘worst points tally in the top two divisions’ treatment alongside the ‘Rooney & his sidekick out’ thread getting a bump.

Even though the praise has been fulsome of Liam’s debut , I actually feel it’s being a bit underplayed by some (which might not be a bad thing). His performance was immense. I’m sure he completed every single pass successfully, received the ball in close quarters, got loads of touches and was not only the pick of our midfielders but of every midfielder on the pitch Given we were playing a team who could have gone top, with a comfortable gap to third place speaks volumes.
