Hopefully the subliminal messages on Eredivisie footballs will work and he'll become a "Derby Star"

Made me chuckle. You've tweeted it out and you're the chief football writer for the paper. But yeah, fair enough Steve.

Three goals in 18 games by a twenty year old in a team at the foot of the table, including a crucial one to help them escape relegation when the pressure was totally on. And an international call-up to the U21s.

Great to see the thread (thanks @DarkFruitsRam7). Sometimes if giving talks I claim this is my earliest memory, but that's a bit of a stretch as I was only three. The whole Sagan family had gathered at my parents to see it and I'm told I was plucked from my bed and brought into the front room to watch those famous steps on our black and white telly. Do I remember it? Memory is a very difficult thing to pin down.
That said, I absolutely remember Apollo 13 which was only a year later, and wondering if the astronauts would make it back.
I've just written a book about the future that has a chapter on Space Travel and Colonization. Here's the opening, mentioning the stunning leaps forward in powered flight up until Apollo 11, and how we've regressed since.

A general view and the elusive Kyle McAllister. He got about 20 minutes at the end.

Some players we signed last season will have benefited from this pre season. Also they will be more settled. The more players you keep bringing them in the harder it is to get unity. I like the way cocu  is going to work to improve what he has already apart from a couple of loans. Any manager can make a team good by splashing the cash but a good coach should do well with what he has.

Thank god Cocu has noticed that Evans is a centre half.
Ok in midfield in an emergency.

Ha! How did you know? On which note, Cara says hi to the forum. In fact she'd work perfectly for what I'm writing at the moment. Sadly there's a long way to go before it ever makes the screen but it's got to be better than Carnival Row?
I have no contacts with the club so am not actually ITK. But some who do/are tell me things occasionally and I'm very grateful. Having asked for Tomori back, our chances must be better now Frank is keeping Zouma.

    I’m guessing:
                     Roos
    Bogle Keogh Evans Malone
        Huddlestone Dowell
    Bennett Lawrence Jozefzoon
                  Waghorn

Nah @SuperDerbySuperRams & @MACKWORTH RAM have become mere mortals since Sam Rush left. Bit weird.
The only ITK we have now is @Carl Sagan and he says that Tomori is definitely coming back and bringing a mate with him. So that's good enough for me. I would ask him to confirm but I think he's having dinner with Cara Delevingne tonight to discuss a film script he's been writing for her to star in.
Oh how the other half live...
    Garlic breaded mushrooms anyone?

Twan seems mega excited to be at Derby County. The Coaching staff know each other very well.  Philip Cocu seems to know exactly what is needed. He has realistic goals and has managed expectations really well. Give these people time and we will be really successful as a Club. We just need to resist struggling Premiership clubs trying to poach the staff. I should imagine that the compensation package is set very high indeed. these people are here to build over a few years. two things to look out for are the quality of the permanent signings and to see if by Xmas there is real evidence of improvement in individual players. Cocu has done it all at a higher level than where we are at the moment, How many previous managers have we had where our manager has won titles in higher domestic leagues than ours at both playing and managerial level? Looks a startlingly brilliant appointment at present. He needs two years to build his team.

John Eustace was a bang average grafter. But he knew the game and he made others play better. The reports I’ve read about Shinnie is he does the same. We need players like this to enable our flair players to perform.
ive read the descriptions on Shinnie and they are comparable with van der Laan. Definitely by a long stretch not the most accomplished player to wear the shirt but absolutely vital in our progression in the mid nineties.
we had good players last season but the team wasn’t balanced, especially in midfield. Shinnie is the right signing to give us balance.

If you don’t want him back on loan, I really do despair. People criticise him for not impacting the game whilst conveniently ignoring the number of points he won for us on his own last season.
He’s Tom Lawrence but far, far better. I suppose he’s what we hoped Tom Lawrence would be.

Hate lunchtime games. They're dead. The players struggle to get going too. It's obviously going to be the same for us and the Gumps but that doesn't make it any better. This gives dirty Leeds an advantage over us, which is disappointing.

In all seriousness, I can't see Carson sitting on the bench and fading away if Roos is the first choice.
Although the thought of good wages and an easy life might appeal to some. I am sure Carson would still think he has something to offer for a coule of years yet and then he can play second fiddle for a few seasons
