This isn’t accurate. Firstly we battered Charlton and got sucker punched. That’s part of football. We’ll do that to others.
Secondly you’re talking as if there’s only one team in a match. We’ve already seen that 80% of sides in this league are going to be playing us like it’s a cup match. They were wasting time from the off last night - I don’t begrudge them for it but it’s a lot harder to break down teams who’d snap your hands off for a point than those who have come with a plan to win the match.

We’re still a fortnight behind other teams in terms of prep for obvious reasons. If we’re still all possession no bite by end of September then I’d share some of your worries but right now a team thrown together without a proper full pre season have 7 points from 4 matches and have created enough chances to win the 2 matches they didn’t.

Agreed. When we get to the Prem we'll just get Tomori back in alongside him.

But it is not just down to LR's instructions. Adapting to the other team's changes is easier when you have a settled team who know how they all work together. The players on the pitch and especially the leaders can see where changes are affecting them. If you have only just started playing together it's not that easy.

Blimey ,it didn’t take long for the moaners and football managers in the stands to start!  44 days ago we were still in administration.Since then we’ve signed 12/13 new players in a market based on financial restrictions imposed by the EFL.We’re at least a fortnight behind in terms of fitness and we’re trying to bed in these new players and develop a playing pattern with an inexperienced, although articulate and enthusistic ,interim manager.Football isn’t an exact science and each season there’ll be highs and lows.Personally,I’m delighted with the start and expect fitness and results to improve steadily.Just listened to LR’s post match interview and he emphasised we’re a work in progress and the importance of spirit, resilience and determination in the squad.I think the realists among us realise there’s still a long way to go but from where we were,we should be really pleased with the progress made. Onwards and upwards !

I feel bonded to him knowing that he was crying at the same time I was, about the same thing.

went to the cricket last time it was really hot. My mate soaked his y fronts in water, put them in the freezer overnight, then put them on under his shorts before we left for the game. Tip he got from women’s hour but the water was his idea. He said at first they were rigid so a bit scratchy - he blamed his shoes but he was walking oddly plus he said his willy was numb. Then they quickly got soggy. He claimed it was a brilliant idea but as they melted if looked from the front like he’d peed himself, worse from the back and at one stage it looked like the security guys on the gate weren’t going to let him in . He’s still walking pretty strangely and has some sort of fungal rash.
Anyway you could give that a go ?
