Rooney has had multiple interviews now, where he has been asked the question about walking away. He consistently says no. We have been crying out for stability and loyalty from a manager since Nigel Clough. He arguably has the toughest job of any manager for as long as I can remember supporting Derby (22 years) and despite having a bare minimum squad and having all the problems above him, he continues to show that he cares and wants to do well.
We are starting to see a style of play which is exciting and attacking with the handful players he has.
I think it's about time everyone starts to show respect to him instead of wanting him out. Any other manger would have left us in this mess.

He's sticking with us, we need to stick with him !!

Penalty-taking is a very specific exercise which has little to do with attacking or defensive mindset. I'm sure they take them in training and they take the best penalty takers for the shoot-out. Can't see what's to get annoyed about.

You're probably right. But I just wanted Sibley and Joz to take one and score. They need the confidence!

A true glory fan would have been supporting Liverpol by 1978. But yes, it has certainly been a rollercoaster!. It's just that I started with the high. I think the rollercoaster probably needs servicing now, so it can climb back up to the top again.

Born in Gloucester, live in France. Dad a lifelong Derby fan, no real football team in Gloucester, and I started getting into football in 1974/5, so I didn't tke a lot of indoctrinating.

Deserves way more credit than he gets. Look at the comments on the starting line-up.
"I don’t think I’d be able to stand a season with Roos as number 1"
"Cant do another season with Stevie ******* wonder in goal ffs"
"Oh no! Why is roos No1 is he ******* blind"
    "Roos why? He’s dog ****"
Great shotstopper and good passer. His commanding and catching crosses could do with some work (although Roos had 3rd most aerial duels won p90 last season, Marshall was incredibly low), but can anyone name a championship keeper with all 4 traits at a high quality? No, you can't, because there's none. It's not like Marshall is incredibly commanding and catches every cross either, fans are just programmed to hate Roos after 1 massive mistake. Fans are always like there's a mistake coming. He hasn't made a mistake that's directly led to goal since Wembley.

Not much about how we played though. More complaining about how bad they were.

I voted Byrne for consistency throughout the season, coupled with being our best attacking outlet.
Bielik is by far our best performing player but just didn't play enough games.

I could never support (like properly support) another club. I don't think I could stop following football entirely either - I still play Sunday league at 52, so there must be something about it that keeps me coming back. So that leaves the general football fan option, generally supporting my fantasy PL picks to get as many points as possible. Wouldn't be the same though. Let's hope it never comes to that.
