In an alternative universe there is a Derby County scouting team that upon seeing that both Craig Bryson & Will Hughes would be out for a season, immediately found two quality season-long loans to replace them for practically nothing, instead of ham-stringing us for 4 years with Butterfield & Johnson.  That £10m combined fee and subsequent wages have screwed us ever since.  Johnson had his uses but was massively overpriced, as was Butterfield.  Clement didn't help matters with his January splurge either...
I think the vast majority of our fans would like to go back to those halcyon days of the hidden gems under Burley & Clough, unearthing the truffles amongst the crap.  The Brayford's, Bryson's, The Reich's,, The Martin's The Idiakez's, the Osman's, the Buxton's.  Ah the memories 😍
Even at the very top end of football, fee doesn't dictate talent.  Give me a £500k Holmes over a £7m Bielik any day of the week.

IMO it is getting increasing worse in terms of moaning. Saturday for example, completely getting on the teams back for keeping possession and knocking it around. If you ask any of the top coaches, top players, possession is key. I would much rather have possession of the ball (bearing in mind we are winning) than not have it. The moaning, especially noticable in the West stand at times was a joke. Football is not the end to end game it used to be back when grandad was in the ossie end.
All that happens when cries of 'Forward...Get it up' is it makes the players and the rest of the crowd incredibly anxious. That's not support and it actually creates a divide in the supporters. Fans moaning at each other for getting on the players backs.
Obviously our players are not the quality of City, Inter, Barca Liverpool etc...but if you look at the way they play, they start out from the back and wait until opportunity arises.
Cocu and the players obviously work on this. This is the style they want to play and i'm all for it.
Just because we turn up in numbers doesn't mean we have a great support base

Is this statement your real opinion? Seriously? The last 5 years have been the best group of 5 seasons in my life time for entertainment and competitive football.
2014 - play-off final - best football this century 2015 - top for most of the season, fell out of play-offs due to injuries at end 2016 - top at Boxing Day - play off Semis under Wassall 2017 - how many managers? bound to fail - flirted with play-offs, unable to sustain after crap start 2018 - play off semi 2019 - play off final You pick any other group of 5-6 seasons in the last 50yrs and it will be nothing like as entertaining and competitive as the group of seasons above.

Nah. Bogle is able to do the damage he does going forward because he’s a defender, and he comes charging at you unexpected. Stick him on the wing and he then has to wait to receive the ball, and will have much less space. He’s positionally pretty decent as a fullback. Never once looked like anything other than a RB to me, so not worth fiddling with, as poor as flojo has been. Waghorn needs to return there imo. Wisdom could yet be an option at centre half now he’s fit, we’ll see whether he suits.

Isn't that exactly what we need a player who is unpredictable and will try things. At the moment I'd struggle to see any of our current midfield recording those assist stats even if they lost the ball every other time. Half of them aren't even looking up to make those passes!
You also make it sound really simple to have a team score loads of goals. Particularly when everyone knows you are going to attack. Even one of our best attacking teams in mclaren round 1 was stumped when teams started parking the bus

A fans favorite who has let himself down like that, he wont be back on the pitch in a rams shirt again. Those 3 have let MM down massively and i hope they do get sacked for it. 33 year old club captain should be responsible for looking after the squad on and off the pitch.

I'll always support this club. We have been massively let down by these 3 idiots and genuinely hope we sack them all. Im gutted for Mel Morris who has done everything for this club, but unfortunately hasn't got the rewards for that hard work. These 3 have given him a real kick in the balls.
I believe that this incident will refocus everyone at the club from the remaining players to the manager to US the fans.
