I'll be honest, I do hope Bolton get up (THROUGH THE PLAY OFFS) - it's been a long road back for them from near destruction and I've nothing against them as a club.

Premiership to League 2 must have been tough so congrats to Pompey on getting up the next step back there. Hope to see you next season!

Gratz Pompey, that's a well-deserved promotion and title. Ultimately you've been the most consistent (and effective) side and that's what gets you promoted when the season is all done and dusted. Some thoughtful and classy responses on here too, even when everything was still very much in the balance for you.

So, it's down to us to do our bit now. Hopefully we can get over the line and get that 2nd place. Nervous ? Hell yeah... 🥴💩

Very pleased for Portsmouth and their fans and hope we can finish the job off and join them shortly.
I think B4 was right in that "coming for pompy" is what has kept us striving, despite various setbacks.
@Foreveram is spot on - new slogan for the last two games - we're coming with you, Pompey.

+1 to the Pompey congrats here and the posters in peace. A fanbase also been through it. 

Now over to us to finish the job, fingers crossed!

Just got home. Story of our season tbh. Didn't play that well but somehow still came out with the three points and the title.

Met and chatted to a few of your lads in the motorway services comming back from the Bolton game , thanked them for beating posh , we agreed to take a draw at Fratton with us both taking the top two spots , smiles all round and fans heading home from a great days football results ,

Fairs mate. I think most on here would be happy to see Pompey promoted too, assuming we make the cut also. Your lot have been THE most consistent side in the division and having been bang there pretty much all season, I'd like to think that your long wait will finally be coming to an end this season. I still want us to knock you off top spot mind! 

Decided to read through the thread after hearing the inspiring albeit sad tale of your recently passed young supporter. This post popped out. 
 
Year after year we’ve had close calls with promotion and have thrown it away.  Even now with the lead we have I won’t believe we are promoted until it’s mathematically safe. 
 
After hearing the story about B4 I genuinely hope it’s Pompy and Derby who go up in the automatics. What a fitting tribute that would be for someone who was obviously well loved by this forum and had a good heart.

It's a thread started by a young, Derby mad fan known to us as @B4ev6is, B4, or Daniel. He passed away recently which broke many a heart among us Rams as he was as sweet a lad as you could wish to meet and the most fervent and loyal supporter of any club, not just Derby, that I've ever met. His spelling however was shocking, but as a result of learning difficulties, hence the jokes about 'scraves and ballions' you'll find all over the forum. We bumped the thread as part of an effort to keep him close to our hearts and the title was left as was out of respect to Dan and his family. In its own way, it kind of sums up who he was and why he such a favourite among us Rams faithful. No disrespect is intended.

I wouldn't pick this up, mate. A lot of context you will have missed.

Derby County v Blackpool

This camera was my Dad's (Also a big derby fan, he's on here somewhere) and had been sitting in the loft for years before getting a new lease of life. It's an Olympus OM1 if anyone cares, think it's from the 80s. Shot on Ilford XP2 film.

More about being aware that the bounce and run of the ball is unreliable. Overplaying on a bobbly surface can be as frustrating as having cross after cross headed away by dominant defenders. Put pressure on their defenders and hope that the surface causes them more problems than it does us. It's not a day for passing around at the back. On a narrow pitch, the middle is a difficult place to play through a team, even on a flat surface. They'll regard a point as satisfactory, so I expect they'll play ala Northampton and hope to nick a goal - we have to make sure they have to work harder for one than NTFC did that day.

They have, I’m not saying we shouldn’t use them, what I’m saying is we also shouldn’t ignore Bird (or Hourihane for that matter) if we find ourselves needing a goal and the combination of Adams and Smith isn’t working.
Why would we limit our options just because the players we currently have available won’t be here next season, whatever gets us the points to go up is all that matters to me rather than feeling slighted by someone’s future career plans. 

Definitely a good option to come on after 60 minutes if things need changing.
