He will not get sacked anytime soon, so you may aswell get behind him and the team.

I literally couldn't care either way with Paul Warne.
If you want to put the whole 90 last week down to luck and a purple patch, that's your prerogative. Miserable but it's your opinion. My opinion is you've absolutely sucked the life out of this thread with post after post of unbalanced, negative crap. But that's just me.
    Enjoy the (likely) defeat.

Not his shot stopping but his shithousery.

After Peterbrough got their second one of their players took the ball off him and he went down holding his head. He was not touched on his head. He stayed down and got treatment for a fake injury.

I hate faking, but faking head contact is just trying to get a player sent off. Needs stamping out the game.

S*** start to the weekend. Lost this sweet little baby tonight. Only 2.  Had tea, went out then came back a short while later clearly in distress, and then 45 minutes after that, gone. We're all still in shock. Kids in bits.  She was such a gentle cat. I'm more gutted (and angry) than I thought as she was a constant for me working from home.  Our other two cats are out most of the time.

My grandson, bless him, had a bit of a mare. Not entirely unexpected but of course he was devastated and not looking forward to telling his parents. It’s a horrible time for some.
He’ll be okay though as he has good support. He’s also just started a part-time job and that has done his confidence good.
Young people are under so much pressure to achieve, be glamorous, popular etc.
Exams are a small part of education and I don’t think you ever really learn much of use until you actually start work.

If you get hit in the head, head a football going 30 mph 10,000 times or take 20 thundering tackles per Rugby game clashing heads and getting concussed 10 times in 5 years, it will have an affect.  Suppose the risks are known now.  I've also seen someone lose an eye to a piece of flying wood and another friend lose a thumb and have a nerve stripped out whilst working as tree surgeons.  There's risk to every trade and some are much better paid to match the additional chance of injury.  There choice.

It comes down more than anything to would the playing squad believe in her?
Ultimately, I don't think it'll happen, not because of the merits or not of Wiegman herself, but the (mens) game not being ready. I know the argument will be unless someone does, it'll never be prepared to be ready.
She clearly has the ability to coach a team to a good level and that's not in doubt. How that stacks up against the many good coaches of men's teams is unknown, I don't believe the actual "mechanics" of coaching are radically different but it's a question of attitudes and accepting.
50 years ago women in leadership roles were comparatively rare and faced a lot of uphill expectations based on their gender and not their ability, these days it's unremarkable and that's been based on ability.
I think we may still be a decade or more away from female coaches being widely accepted in the men's game. Not based on coaching ability but on the almost generational way in which attitudes change.
But it will happen at some point.

Max Bird is the last remaining player in our squad who can actually play football. He is calm under pressure and can pick a pass.
It’s not his fault he’s surrounded by less talented players.
He is one of those who will be a better player elsewhere. He was at his best learning from Rooney. He won’t get better in a hoofball side.
I’ll be gutted when he leaves but I guess it’s all part of our transition from a chrysalis to a slug.

My personal opinion is not to criticise clowes.
Hes the reason we have a club. Hes running it sustainably so we dont have this threat again.
Sure the decisions hes made may not pay off but thats normal in life and business.

Irony being that we believed the defence was sorted and possibly the best in the division. Expecting lots of 1-0s.
Yet, on the evidence thus far it’s a bloody shambles and joke.

If we lose today, I think we are looking at 6 or 7 consecutive relegations. A draw, maybe 4?
