This is why Notts couldn't get as much as they wanted before June 30th for Brennan. Why would any club keep back these eye watering amounts of money until after the season has finished, surely they will want to spend that money on players at a time when they can add value during that accounting period, ideally after 1st July and before the season starts.
Generally speaking players will have less value in the early part of the summer transfer window before the end of the accounts period. Notts will have known this when they overspent before the start of the season and realised that they would have had to had a forced sale of players at the end of the season and before the end of their accounting period at 30th June, in order to comply with FFP. They chose not to comply, for which there is no defence. They chose to spend over £30m more than they should have, so that over the season, they would have had an advantage over other clubs abiding by the rules.

I think Thelo Aasgaard would be a decent signing, always been impressive when I have seen him & still only 21

I'm up to 86 now having added Stevenage & Leyton Orient to my list this season.
All but one have been watching Derby
My remaining 6 are Wrexham, Harrogate, Barrow, Colchester, Crawley & Sutton
Obviously several of my list have been at former grounds but they still count

I just wanted to pass on my belated condolences for B4's passing - as an outsider it was clear how much he cared about your club.  It's lovely to see how much warmth he commands and how he's being remembered.
I'm sure it doesn't need explaining that I hope my club gets up, but having read some of this thread I hope you manage to make it up with us.  It's also a great reminder that football clubs are all about the people who support them.  Raising a glass to Daniel this evening. 

no sympathy about them breakuing the rules i just think the rules are fundamentally wrong.
 
i think every leagues maximum spend should be aligned to the club with the highest revenue in the league it shouldnt be on individual clubs, all it does it create a world of haves and have nots that goes for every division. we have seen ourselves ffp rules do nothing to prevent clubs getting into financial trouble but nobody is stupid enough now to believe thats why it was brought in its simply to protect the heirachy.

Goal music is something I really hate.

It usually curtails my celebration and I would gladly see it consigned to the depths of history.

Not read all of the thread, but I think there's likely a few like me who don't really want to see any club fold, but have less sympathy for those few who took particular relish in our near demise. As for our fans singing the same songs that were sung to us, I understand it, but it's really not a good look. We should be better than that, but then some would argue, so should they have been.
As for the grasping little weirdo from Wycombe, well one feels he's going to getting plenty from fans of all different clubs over the coming weeks and months and where he's concerned, it's very much a case of zero f**ks given. He's earned it.

Not sure I understand getting both Wilson and Fields.  That said, they’re both cheap short term deals, but could get expensive the season after.
However, with Arthur Smith calling the plays, neither will prosper.

Some of our fans in the south stand on Tuesday night were chanting about partying when Reading die. I hated it when any opposition fans sang it during our troubles. Our fans chanting the same at others is disgusting too.
