  1. I loved it but the Mrs didn't get on with it at all. I've watched it again in the last couple of weeks at the gym - 40 mins cardio doesn't half fly by while you're trying to keep up with what's happening!.
  2. Loved this. Thanks. The most fun I’ve had watching a comedy/horror since “Ready or not” The fact that it’s got Mrs Griswold from my favourite Christmas film in it, is purely coincidental of course. Something not quite perfect about the ending for me but a cracking watch for a Christmas film - for adults. 8/10
  3. There's something worrying about any country that has to have a Ministry of Communications IMO
  4. Black Mirror - Bandersnatch An "interactive" film on Netflix where you get to choose how the story unfolds..... Enjoyed this up to the point I realised that you don't really get that much choice if you want it to actually reach a proper conclusion - there's only really one "correct" path to go down and so it just gets repetitive. 7/10 for an hour or so. Ended up a 5/10. Can't see any reason why I'd want to "watch" it again. It did make me want to dig out my old Fighting Fantasy books from my school days, though.
  5. Thank you. I was just saying to Mrs Wolfie last night that maybe we should start that. Don't think I'll bother now.
  6. Welcome. Tap or click the word Quote under a post, to copy it into a new post and add your comment - add it underneath the quote box, not in it. If you want to quote more than one post, tap or click the + on all the ones you want to comment against. Once you’ve done this, a “quote # posts” box should be at the bottom of the screen. Tap or click that and they all will appear in a new post for you to comment on.
  7. I just love Dave Gahan vocals. Why don't Depeche Mode make stuff like this any more?.....
  8. They bloody well should know better, shouldn't they?. I'd be concerned if the various coaches around the club didn't know any more about the relative quality of our young players and suitability for the first 11 than the chuckle brothers here on a forum.
  9. Different issues, though. The petition is trying to use safety as the main justification for the ban.
  10. Maybe 😉 Don't know why it didn't embed as usual though. It wasn't meant to be clickbait!
  11. Presumably not this one, then?.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BaUx4v_Ax5s
  12. It’s all been said. I didn’t know him. Never met him. But his unbridled love and positivity for DCFC just made me smile every single time I saw one of his posts. A bright light amongst all the darkness. Shine on, B4. Shine on.
  13. That's a really informative and entertaining read (I mean the link, though your post is lovely as well). Thanks!.

There was that clip at the weekend about the Hull howler....Pass pass pass around the back 4; lose the ball; concede. Took me right back to his time here.
  15. The TV company would probably be in trouble with Ofcom if they didn't apologise for bad langauge before the watershed. Same as any other live TV or Radio broadcast - and there are probably written rules about it. They should just not have microphones so close to fans. It didn't used to be a problem.
  16. A Haunting in Venice The third of Ken Brannagh's Agatha Christie adaptations, and a story that I knew nothing about. OK, but the weakest of the three IMO. I do want to see it agian, though, because I was knackered when we went to the Cinema, so may have missed a few inutes in the middle. 6/10
  17. Isn't it romantic (Netflix) Rebel Wilson has a hum-drum life. Bangs her head during a mugging and wakes up in a rom-com. A decent film that makes fun of every rom com cliche there is. 6.5/10
  18. The bold bit is where I beg to differ. For me, it clashed horribly with the darker moments and removed much of the drama. But hey, each to their own.
