bristolram reacted to TheRamOfSwad in We ARE going to do it!
We will get automatics! and we will get promoted!!
We have it in us to pull these remaining results off but we need to get behind the team đÂ
Not being hysterical at every miss kick and bad result!
Not using ridiculous and visceral vocabulary such as "Bottlers" and start praising the players you don't build player confidence and motivation by talking down about them, they are humans too! They read social media and stuff online. Maybe even this forum? think about thatÂ
I've cant believe how reactionary this fanbase has become! I get the performances haven't been total football but we aren't there yet! we are a work in progress, you know?
We will deal with next season when we get there but for now, 3 games to go let's get out there and support and clap the lads on and off the pitch, comment on the socials with words of motivation and togethernes ⤠that's what's gonna bring us over the line.... plus I'm sick of looking at heaps of negativity on here đ¤Ł
We are 2nd , remember. Start of the season we'd have paid money to be here đđť
and vibes are real, they'll feed of us it's all frequencies and vibrations â
Come on Derby, time for promotion đŞ đ â˝ď¸Â

I like the rams daily podcast. Living far, far, away from derby its a great way of keeping up to date.. along with RamsTV.
It'll be a massive shame when the BBC run out of money and they have to have one broadcast for each game.
Back in the mel era when I guess the budget was a bit higher, I really enjoyed the RamsTV meets series.

bristolram reacted to Tamworthram in Away tickets 23/24
Are you on the waiting list? It seems to have worked for quite a few of us this season although, assuming youâre in Bristol, getting the tickets could be a challenge. I got a ticket, via the waiting list, for Burton and was able to collect it from the Burton ground but I donât know if this is common.

bristolram reacted to Ram@Lincoln in Steve Nicholson leaving the Derby Telegraph
After 37 years service, Steve Nicholson finishes his reporting of Derby. No matter what you think of his articles now during the click bait world of the Derby Live website, he's been an absolutely outstanding linchpin to Derby media over the years. Before the social media world he, along with RD, were the number one source for all things Derby. I wish Steve all the best with whatever he does now, wherever it's retirement or somewhere new without the pressures of clickbait and online adverts. Thank you for all your hard work over 37 years Steve!

bristolram reacted to loweman2 in The colours of 1884 (please read)
After years of work and research here it is !
The Derby County shirt worn in the inaugural season of 1884 by the pioneers of our club, Cambridge Blue, Amber and Chocolate Brown the first colours of the Rams, it was thought that the early colours were blue but it was a shade of blue called Cambridge Blue which is actually more of a green. The badge was the badge of the Derbyshire FA that a player was permitted to wear if they had been selected to represent the Derbyshire FA.
we have had two made by a local tailor after we sourced the correct colours and the materials, the embroidery was done separately, even down to mother of Pearl buttons, it is to add further integrity to the book but moreover to show where the club evolved from, the team that wore these colours set the precedent for all those that have followed, the shirts will be on display at our Rams Heritage roadshows later in the year.
brought to life after 137 years by Phil Lowe & Jason Shardlow.

bristolram reacted to Leeds Ram in Tom Huddlestone
It does and it doesn't. Huddlestone's phrasing it a bit ambiguous by saying 'wayne has to play' and cocu had a 'remit' to continue to develop and push Bird on. I'm not sure if that means that's Cocu's priorities for the team or if there is some form of direction specifically with selecting younger or more high profile players that was a top down direction. Combining that with the accusation made by Huddlestone that training and game performances wouldn't be what he'd be picking the team on and it makes for a pretty damaging interview.Â

bristolram reacted to David in Please donât blame Morris and Pearce.
For an organisation to approve and sign off on accounts for 3 seasons, to then turn round and say hold up, you know how we approved those accounts? Yeah, we donât anymore and decided we want to retrospectively punish you by relegating you.Â
Whatever your thoughts on Mel, the signings, appointments the colour of his shoes, this is just insanity, it honestly is and itâs vindictive insanity even taking club bias out.
This case should worry every single owner, manager and fan of clubs under the shambolic EFL pyramid.
Including that Championship club where the owner owns another club over in Greece, transferring players between each other to circumvent FFP restrictions without even trying to hide it and the EFL are blind to it.
Our real crime here letâs be honest is being better than Middlesbrough one season, thatâs the big issue here.Â
Weâve upset this little bloke up North sat in his half empty stadium so much heâs had his lawyers out to shake the EFL suits up.
Then you have that Karen Maguire over on Twitter sticking his great big spoon into the mix as it gives him a hard on and appearances on rogue radio stations and podcasts.
Absolute joke.
Nobody from the EFL will read this, but if somehow you do, fine yourself, fine yourself for being an inept organisation and if youâre serious about looking out for the best interests of the member clubs, sell up, hand the leagues over as you have shown time after time you are incapable of running them, youâre an embarrassment.

Noticed some people having a go .
We are Derby fans and we should stick together and back the ClubÂ
Its easy to be derogatory about the owners in this situation but the real enemy is the EFLÂ
They are an absolute joke of an institution and donât get me started on Steve Gibson and Wycombe Wanderers

Bought his local team cos they were swell
He chucked around cash
And players repaid him with a car crash
Now the club is as dodgy as hell

bristolram reacted to hintonsboots in Melvyn Morris fan club
A life long  Rams fan, who made himself a fortune with his entrepreneurial skills, doing what we all dream of, buying the club they love.
He has invested a large part of his wealth into our club and until this season has maintained us as a stable Championship club capable of challenging for the top 6, personally I will always be grateful to Mel for that.
The sad part for me is how his ownership is ending, with the failure of the AbuDerby takeover, being a major catalyst in our journey towards league 1. If the takeover had completed the January window alone would have put us in mid table.
Melâs biggest mistake though is on manager recruitment, where he has almost experimented, and chopped and changed , with some bizarre rookie managers and coaches who are not suited to building a squad to get promoted.
I may be unpopular with this view, but if an experienced manager like Warnock, had been appointed early in his ownership, we would now be an established Premier League side and flourishing. It maybe that Colin would have been replaced once promoted.
I really hope we stay up, and Mel can then sit back and watch us storm the league next season........dream on.

"Schalke and Sheffield United are the only sides in Europe's top five divisions yet to win this season, with the Royal Blues requiring a first league win in 358 days against 13th-placed Hoffenheim on Saturday to steer clear of Tasmania's record.
Failure to do so would mean they could go on to equal the record winless run in Europe's top five leagues - the 32 set by Derby County in the Premier League in 2007-08 - when they face Eintracht Frankfurt on 17 January, a full year on from their last league victory."
