I appreciate this doesn't mean much - But as a minor show of solidarity I've decided to retire my traditional Batman icon in 'favour' of my own stupid ugly mug

Appreciate all the messages, especially the one that said I’m young. Whilst I hear all the you have nothing to apologise for messages, I feel I did and couldn’t just swan back in here like nothing had happened.
Now I have addressed it and the football is back, hopefully we can all draw a line under this episode and move on.
This is a time when we all need to be together right now.

David - As far as I'm concerned there is absolutely no need for any apology - you do a sterling job leading this forum for us and I personally appreciate all the hard work you put in to provide us with a place we can come to discuss the club we all love 
Its an absolute shame that some of our fans, and some here, cannot appreciate the work you (and the other Mods) put in to provide this for us - and the level of abuse you have received I find appalling when you constantly go out of your way to find us more information about the club and what's going on
You have my full support and trust and whatever you can/can't say here I choose to assume is down to your own good judgement
I hope you feel better today than the last few days, hope you know how much the vast majority of us here appreciate you and the work you do, and please don't let the vocal minority of grey faces keep you down

Personally I don't think serving ads from the club counts as being affiliated or connected with the advertiser - But then I've spent over a decade now working in advertising so have a somewhat jaded viewpoint on it
Just because the supermarkets advertise on ITV doesn't mean they have any influence on what ITN News says, does or publishes - same with us
I think David and the Mods generally just don't like posting anything which would get the site sued - whether potential libel by anonymous posters for which the site would bear responsibility - or statements/information from the club that was under an NDA for whatever reason - I think both of those are very fair and I support the Mods in their approach ?‍♂️

I'm sorry to say but I think your post signifies that this kind of attitude is not needed in this forum. Lack of patience and I think you went into the weekend with a pre-set opinion of the player and have looked for reasons to criticise him. I think you'd be better off being loaned out or sold. That way we might be able to sign a poster who could cut it on this forum.
I'm judging you based on your performance in this one post and the fact you have a grand total of 7 posts under your belt (at time of posting) - That seems fair right?

David had to leave before the end of the meeting to catch his last train home.
It was only at the end of the meeting that the attendees were told what they could say and what they couldn't under the NDA.
So - and perfectly reasonably and understandably - David submitted his summary to the club for approval.
Again understandably, the club's administrative staff have other concerns - fighting the EFL, trying to sign players, sorting out season tickets.
So you'll just have to be patient.

I fully confess to not being a financial wizard - But I don't understand how Morris could commit to funding the club for a year before the EFL have confirmed our accounting method is correct? If they ask us to change the accounting method again then it might be the difference of hundreds of thousands of pounds extra which he'd have to put in - Asking him to write a blank cheque at this point seems a bit odd/unfair?
Feels quite chicken and egg to me - The EFL want Morris to say he'll support the club for the season but haven't given us the means to calculate how much that would cost him / whether it's feasible
