Gets my back up when the usual suspects fans are straight onto that twitter 'news' saying that 'They(we)' we are obviously up to no good and need punishing (again) somehow. Do they actually have the faintest idea what Administration is ? A company has come in and taken over the temporary running of club and there is not a thing we can do about it. As fans, players and coaching team we all want this resolved as soon as is humanly possible because we're utterly sick of the delay, uncertainty and general helplessness. However the club is being run by a 3rd party with the sole interests of the entity that appointed them, that's how it works.
These morons can't seem to separate an irrational and fanatical hatred of DCFC with something completely out of our power. WR and the boys turn up and do what they can on the pitch and us fans support them as best we can, that's it.. end of story. All the finances, admin and PR of the club are the sole responsibility of the Administrators. We don't in effect have a club at the moment we have someone else in charge who doesn't care about football or fans or frankly any of this, they just want the best settlement for who they represent. That isn't necessarily a criticism, just the reality of our desperate situation.
These ill-informed fans of other clubs just need to realise that there isn't some secret Satan-worshipping DCFC 'elites' laughing and cackling in a boardroom in PP, there are just some administrators... and they'd sell the turf from under the players boots if they thought it would squeeze a bit more cash out for their client. Nothing, absolutely noting that is happening is DCFCs 'fault' because there is no DCFC as such and won't be until such time as someone actually buys us and takes over running of it. Until then this is 100% the Administrators show.

NULram reacted to David in Steve Gibson trying to liquidate Derby
It's just reached the point of pure embarrassment, from Boro, Wycombe and the EFL.
All those rival fans that are finding joy in all this when they could easily be next, wake up.
The game is littered with utter BS, we tried to find a different way with amortisation to compete with those awarded millions for failure, which the EFL retrospectively on Gibson's request found us guilty.
    Naughty Derby, grow up.
Rules have been retrospectively added to cover the EFL arses. Google enhanced embargo, see what comes up, Derby County, there was never a enhanced embargo before all this, it's something you came up with as Mel Morris publicly challenged you.
Meanwhile we have state owned clubs when sponsorships for official hotels, soaps and rubber ducks for 10x what they could buy this club for in the Premier League.
Do you not even realise how anti competitive the league that's responsible for your revenue is, do you not realise that the very existence of the Championship relies on multi millionaires prepared to be losing upwards of half a million a month, it's not sustainable even by your own rules.
Derby County reject a bid for their player which could be derisory, yet the EFL are on our case, are we in the position now where we have to sell Jason Knight for a fiver to keep Rick Parry happy, if that's the case then just end the game now.
We lost Kaide Gordon to Liverpool for a bag of monster munch and Freddo over that deal you agreed with the PL, how is that looking after your member clubs when they have to gift wrap the young stars that have been educated both on an off the field to satisfy the greed of the top 6 in this country.
Explain the benefit of that deal to your member clubs, please explain as from the fans that love the game, all we see is our clubs being screwed over.
Out of 2 play off finals which we were beaten, we were beaten by clubs that would have failed EFL FFP, we took it on the chin yet here we are, one club using bookies odds to build a case and another that didn't even earn promotion on merit jeopardising the existence of this club.
Meanwhile the MSM are far more interested in the likes of Man United and Newcastle to even realise what is going on outside the gold pit. The game is dying whilst the "journalists" are far more interested in finding the next tweet to create a clickbait article than actually do their jobs.
Nobody wants to touch it, why? We have a Serbian tennis player refused entry to a country and tournament, everyone, every journalist in sport is weighing in as we're sat here in limbo over let's not forget, retrospective punishment.
The EFL signed off our accounts that we have now been punished for, let that sink in.
I'm sick of it, sick of the rival fans looking to take the piss without understanding the situation, sick of the incompetent governing bodies, sick of Gibson and that Wycombe numpty.
We've rolled over, accepted the retrospective punishment, saved the EFL embarrassment of explaining themselves in court, yet the EFL are too gutless to tell the curly haired one to shut up as they are in fear of landing themselves in court over the utter shambolic way they have ran this league.
Grow some balls Rick, accept some responsibility over how the investigations were handled and do the right thing, tell Gibson to F off, tell Wycombe to F off and learn from your mistakes.

What might actually have stopped Mel taking Derby down the disastrous route to where we are now is if there'd been a regulator for football overall who had the power to enforce ffp sanctions across both the EFL and the PL. If QPR and Leicester had been prevented from taking up their places in the PL back in 2014 (like Swindon once were from the old Div 2 to Div 1), would MM had even chanced overspending or pulling a too-clever-by-half accounting trick? But the knowledge that you could get away with it if you succeeded, or do something advantageous and slip it past the wide-eyed novices of the EFL executive (ala Watford and Wolves) must emboldened him to the point of hubris. The problem with FFP has always been the unwillingness of the PL to support what the EFL were trying to do. Without that, it's always looked like a chancer's charter, and what egotist can resist such a challenge?

NULram reacted to San Fran Van Rams in Derby finally accept 21 point deduction.
I haven't read the latest in this thread as frankly I don't have the time or inclination. The whole process has been an absolute farce - a witch hunt against an owner; a wider agenda in an attempt to force change up the pyramid; and a corrupt system which bows to those who shout the loudest.
The biggest issue in those whole debacle is that there is an assumption that the LAP made the correct decision about our amortization policy's non-compliance with FRS102. My understanding is that even though the original DC (which included the relevant experts) found the policy to be in compliance (apart from poor disclosure), the LAP then decided to uphold the original particulars even though the LAP had no accounting expertise on it.
The second biggest issue is that EFL have used the club's financial plight to have it agree to the punishment. The EFL knew full well that we were unable to let the sanctions/appeals decision slip given the existing funding and limited cashflow and the inability to sell the club without that decision agreed upon. The EFL forced us to agree to the decision or face liquidation. To me, this is forcing a false confession and is completely unjust and unfair.
The third biggest issue is that we have been repeatedly punished for the same perceived mis-demeanor which I'm still yet to see full evidence that we're guilt of - non-compliance with FRS 102. Putting the compliance matter to one side, we've been punished through a strict transfer embargo, an inability to utilize a league wide loan and now a points deduction. The overall points deduction is also a repeated sanction for the same alleged crime given we would have changed our approach and our decisions if we were to know we couldn't use it. (To note, indirectly we've also been punished with administration as the whole EFL debacle forced buyers to pull out a potential acquisition that would have prevented this from happening).
Finally, the fourth biggest issue is that throughout this whole process, Derby's name has been dragged through the mud. Whether its from the EFLs shockingly worded statements, leaks to the national press, or miss/over simplified reporting by the press, Derby County is now a dirty word amongst many a fan - I do not care that we are not liked. I care that we are not liked because of false accusations and an agenda from our governing body which is meant to protect our club and the game we love.
As I've said before, I do not admonish MM of any responsibility. His financial mis-management of Derby is shocking and he should be condemned as one of, if not the, worst owners in our history and the fact he decided to walked away from the steaming pile of poo he created says a lot about the man.
The EFL, however, has done nothing but further punish and cripple the club and is as worthy of as much criticism as our esteemed previous owner. It is an unfit and unjust governance body that needs dismantling and building from the floor up again.

Why look at it from other clubs perspective? They are most likely only going off the same click bait stories as the fans of other clubs.
Was Paul Warne on the IDC listening to all of the facts and evidence? No, so his opinion is worth nothing more than mine or yours.
How about looking at it from our clubs perspective, we've been found guilty of nothing other than incorrect wording in our accounts, yet 20 months on, have been under constant embargo, denied access to a loan that all other clubs were given and basically been bullied into trying to help the EFL save face.
MM shoulders the responsibility for our financial position but everything else that has gone with it is as a result of our regulator being completely inept.

If we are still discussing the merits of which amortisation method should have been used can anyone confirm if the EFL rules stated all clubs had to use the same method or merely one that complied with HMRC? If its the latter then what we did is not the despicable cheating act some have painted. After all our accountants, the IDC accountant and presumably HMRC haven't claimed we cheated?

So a rule put in place to prevent future stadium sales following the Pride Park sale, meaning Blackburn have had to sell their training ground to themselves instead recently for £16m to balance the books.
And now because of our appeal on the admin points they are looking to change that rule as well.
You watch, when Derby win again they will look at stopping clubs being awarded 3 points when they win a game ?

NULram reacted to DCFC Kicks in Derby County Administration (with the slight possibility of Liquidation still there)
The only thing that's the problem is the Premier League. It doesn't matter who's running the EFL. The PL have all the power and money, and it's up to them if they want to share it, but why would they? They've made it almost impossible to compete with the parachute payment clubs for the top 2 spots without cheating in some way. The PL creates and encourages so much nastiness and selfishness. Clubs are so selfish these days, they don't care about or view football as a wider family where all clubs benefit each others experience. It saddens me to see a lot of Forest fans seeming to enjoy the thought of Derby disappearing altogether. I'd hate it if Forest were in this position as it would make football less enjoyable if they weren't here.
I'm sure the money men behind the PL would probably be happy if they scrapped promotion/relegation all together and made the PL a closed shop. It's becoming more and more of a closed shop anyway with clubs like West Brom, Fulham and Norwich pretty much members of the PL anyway whether or not they're actually there or not, taking up 1 or 2 promotion spots every season. I honestly don't think Derby will ever get to the PL now. By the time we may have recovered from all this I think the PL will be closed. The sad thing is small clubs like Brighton, Crystal Palace, Man City, Watford and Bournemouth will be in it.

He has zero to do with the issues we now find ourselves in, but he has acted with utter class.
He's had no money and is playing a number of players he knows aren't good enough (at least at the moment) without a word of complaint publicly.
He's just got on with his job and tried to get this team playing decent football with one hand tied behind his back, wearing lead boots and being made to wear a balaclava the wrong way around.
And then he hears about going into administration on TV like the rest of us and rather than whining or walking out he gets on with his job.
I really like what I'm seeing, especially when you consider he's in his first year of management and the second youngest boss in the entire football league.
He should have control of this team if/when he has money to spend, or at the very least until the end of this season.
If he does walk or get pushed, I for one will be bitterly disappointed.

I do not - for a minute - think he's intended to run the club down.
He has spent millions, not to run the club into debt, but to chase the dream. We all supported that chase.
Even though he's managed things badly, which he admits, I do believe that he genuinely thinks the only way he can get new owners in is to put the club into administration.
I'm very far from happy about that, actually been crying about it, but I think it's sincere on his part.

I have seen suggestions of it being live streamed, all fans attend etc. Maybe it should, maybe it shouldn’t.
If I was to drop Steve Gibson is a crude word for a female lady part then how would that go down, or any other profanity for that matter on a live stream?
All I know is whilst I believe being part of the SCG is beneficial to you all by given the opportunity to ask questions and receive answers then I will attend.

I would imagine we have players in our squad now that have also cheated but it’s been kept off the front pages as they are not as high profile as England’s all time top goalscorer.
We can all like and dislike who we like and for whatever reason which begs the question why I even felt the need to write all this, I’ll still post it though on the off chance a player or Rooney reads this.

Why are some folk so unable, unwilling or both, to assimilate a few simple facts concerning these charges? It's no small wonder that fans from other clubs have a poor opinion of us now, when some of our own fans, who ought to be better informed, are themselves the first to jump on any sniff of perceived wrongdoing. What possible benefit is there in wilfully ignoring what we know to be true in favour presupposing guilt at every corner? We've even got folk using the fact that we've not submitted the new accounts inside 48 hours as the latest stick with which to thrash the club. It simply beggars belief.
For the umpteenth time, there were two charges; one related to the valuation of our stadium and was summarily dismissed by the DC; the other related to our amortisation policy which was signed off on and approved under legal accounting standards by independent auditors, the auditors regulatory body, the DC and the ducking EFL themselves, the latter several times over a period of years. The amortisation policy charge was also initially dismissed by the DC for the aforementioned reasons. This left the EFL so desperate to save face that they appealed the decision, the outcome of which was predicted by myself and numerous others on this very thread: a small fine in order to secure the token win they need to maintain any ducking credibility at all AND NO POINTS DEDUCTION.
At this point, I very much doubt that even the EFL will be willing to risk further embarrassment. They can kid themselves this paltry fine vindicates two years of unwarranted charges and appeals and get back to their principal role as lapdogs to Sky and the Premiership whilst paying themselves inflated salaries for doing so. As for the DC, I strongly suspect that they only agreed to what is a nominal fine in order to save the EFL from falling into further disrepute and to allow us to finally emerge from under an endless series of unfair and damaging embargos and to prevent the EFL from continuing what has become a spiteful and unwarranted campaign against a club whose chairman quite rightly questioned their business acumen. In doing so, they have vindicated Mel's opinion in spades, though the crushing irony of this has unsurprisingly escaped the EFL's notice and who will doubtless be celebrating spending millions to secure a £100k fine for their members' coffers.
If, as I strongly suspect, the EFL do not appeal this sanction, I think we will 'be the bigger man' and simply take the £100k hit in order to allow us to return to football matters rather than spending every waking hour addressing the embittered ramblings and actions of a so-called professional body that seems more intent on undermining its membership than serving it.

Quite common in most clubs. The candidates all had suitable CV’s ... None of us were fundamentally opposed to any of the appointments at the time. We might have had a dislike of either Pearson’s 1970’s PE teacher mode or the razzmatazz of Lampard but they were all typical of football. We have had every variety with the exception of trying to recruit the sort of tough guy agricultural manager with a “proven record” (although Pearson might fit that bill) . where everyone would have moaned about the lack of ambition.
The transfer policy “errors” started with Bryson and Hughes being injured in the same match which lead to panic buying at inflated prices. At the time, these were seen as bold, supportive and positive moves. Your are eating hindsight by the KFC family bucket load.
The financial state of the club ? .. Mel filled it with money .. some spent well, some badly .. We haven’t had a fiscal mismanagement situation or anything “taken” from the club by Mel. We got in a mess on FFP and Mel coughed up by buying the stadium and paying the club money for it.
Sam Rush ? Is Mel really responsible for another man’s ethics ? ( or lack of them ? )
The fiasco ? .. Someone broke their pledges or didn’t meet their obligations .. it wasn’t Mel. Maybe Mel shouldn’t  have trusted them but good business and life is defined by trust. You have to start somewhere. Has anyone thought about Mel here ? He has obviously had some serious health issues yet he hasn’t flinched from being a DCFC man
yes, for sure, be sceptical or wary of new owners, we all are, we care about our club, but Mel has been a straight shooter from day one. Some of the things he’s done or wanted to do didn’t work out but he is trustworthy beyond doubt . Now maybe those he has trusted are sharks .. but that’s a different story.

I cannot believe how you have such a judgmental attitude to a guy who has given his best efforts and a shed load of money to this club. Your judgement is littered with an astounding lack of logical analysis.
