    She ain't!

With respect, I'm going to respond to this... particularly the emboldened bit... on a personal level... mate to mate...
... and all whilst posting on an internet forum built specifically to discuss matters far and wide, and therefore being a little contradictory/hypocritical.  (Me, not you!)...

    1/  It ain't your problem.
2/  There ain't nothing you can do about it.
3/  Your opinion... if and when you make one... won't have the slightest bearing on any outcome... should an outcome ever be reached.

And now for something far more important, and yet so far off topic I risk a ban...
IMO... In my opinion... IN MY OPINION!!!...
4/  Far too many people worry/concern themselves/give consideration to stuff that they can do nothing about.
5/  I'm surrounded by folk (Out here in real life) that analyse the feck out of such stuff with one hand, whilst with the other hand, throw hints and claims relating to mental infirmities/stress/lack of sleep/mentally-related health issues/anxiety/etc/etc.
I truly believe the two go hand in hand.*
My boss in particular, and my wife to a lesser extent, are both "guilty" of the above.  As are others a little further out in my life.
If anything in life "drives me crazy", it's this!
"Why analyse it"?  I cry!  "Why lie awake thinking about it?".  "Why make yourself ill over it?" "How the hell is this ever going to affect your life?  It ain't, so let it go"!
Chill.  Relax.  Enjoy the good which is all around us.
"Mental health" is going through the roof!  We don't help ourselves.

*I fully appreciate there are those out there who of course, have mental health issues effected/caused by actual problems directly affecting them, and which they cannot solve.
Let's concentrate our efforts on helping them.  I'm a big fan of that (And family history, hopefully all in the past now, touch wood!)
Analysing and/or worrying about stuff nigh on a stratosphere away is not healthy... I repeat... In my opinion!

There.  I feel better now!  👀

Puts it into perspective - I had 20 years unbroken season ticket up until Covid happened. I then held off renewing because it was far from clear as to when the restrictions would be lifted. Then I got ill and had a major op that left me unable to do anything for a year or so.
Since I've been back on my feet I've been going to maybe every other Saturday home game
I'd sort of told myself that next season I'd get back on board with a ST, but for me and my lad it's £600 behind the goal (which I'm not a massive fan of) and £800 on the side. Not having had a pay rise in all that time, and the cost of living soaring - there's absolutely no way I can afford it now 😞
Not going to have a dig at the club - but football in general is becoming completely unaffordable for families.

I'll be renewing with two kids.
Would be nice if the club offered something like a draw prior to each game remaining this season from season ticket holders renewing early. Winning something like a meal at the yard beforehand, or a game in a corporate box as a guest of the club, or vouchers to spend at the concourse if you get served in time.

Personally I'd sooner they carried on with Dom Dietrich on commentary purely for the fact that I think he is a significantly better commentator then Ed Dawes.

We tried it once, to a home game. We wanted to get on the Matlock train and it was cancelled. So a packed platform with disgruntled Derby fans then a crammed railcar running an hour late put me off ever doing it again. By the time we got home the dog was crossing his legs!

I loved the humour of our fans. I can’t stand Steve Evans and ‘fat boy, fat boy what’s the score’ was funny.
Loved the atmosphere today and the fans and team raised their game second half, it felt like one of those times when we all believed it was going to be ok.

Well I’d say Adams has been a good addition to the squad even if we will lose Bird at the end of the season due to him wanting a different challenge next season  . That one really hurts as I think he’s a great lad and a fabulous footballer.
Very upset for James Collins and the Derby fans that he’s out for a while but  all the best to him with his recovery.
As regards the original point of the question I would say on reflection Warne was right to add to midfield but it could be difficult without James but we won yesterday so let’s hope we can get promoted with what we have and hopefully Dwight Gayle .
End of the day let’s all as Derby fans stick together and hope we do it.

PS  Never write players off as Sonny Bradley was brilliant yesterday

Was it because that fat island manager of theirs had wound us up,was it the news we were dreading about Collins, was it the way Stevenage and ourselves played first half but something happened in that second half that I didn't expect but, with the rain lashing down and the skies darkened Pride Park come alive again. That atmosphere the last 20 minutes wher all and I mean all the ground joined in with'Derby is massive' will remain with me for a long long time.

Always feel great when walking away from the game with a win, no matter how we achieved it.
But today came away with an extra little bit of satisfaction. Watching Steve Evans get p1ssed off on the ninetieth minute. Also him then stood on the sideline pointing to his watch, desperately complaining about time wasting while Wildsmith took a free kick. After he'd smugly sat in the dugout watching his own keeper waste as much time as possible all game. Nearly gave me as much pleasure as Sibley's goal.

The second half atmosphere was a big plus for me. It was a complete upgrade from the first half, it helped to spur the team on, drowned out the away support and helped to make the second half far more enjoyable. Even the irregular attenders in our section were swept up in it. Brilliant, keep it up everyone, I'm sure the players appreciated it.
    Other positives:
    - the team stood up well to Stevenage's physicality.
    - Bradley had his best game for the club.
    - Sibley scored a great goal.
    - We gained points on several rivals especially Bolton.

One thing that was particularly great about today’s win was the contribution of Smith, Bradley and Sibley.
It’s great to see players who had been written off in some quarters play an important role in an important win.
As we’ve seen with all of the injuries, we are going to need everyone to play their part.

I think this was a win and type of performance you need to get out of this division.  I’ve enjoyed the last 2 games, both professional performances.  13 points out of 15 since Reading, opened a gap on 3rd and applied a bit of pressure.  What’s not to be happy about?
