Croatia ruined the Spanish with balls in the box and down the channels. Plenty for England to threaten them with, it’s been one of our strengths. Down their right we’d fancy it. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves! 

I think Spain have been more positive with possession than normal. Not just passing for passing sake. Not a fan of the fake 9 so I’ll give you that, although Olmo did play well there. They should have won this game with the chances they’ve had. 
I think England could take both though. 

His record is class as an England manager. He’s the 2nd best England manager in history and could eclipse Alf Ramsey. Absolutely made for international management. He understands tournament football. You bugger, I trawled through all that nonsense, so I could post something very similar to this, then you pip me at the post. 

Southgate has done a decent job. Bought the young players into the squad, got them all playing for the shirt again. He had a tough gig taking over after the car crash of the Hodgson and Big Sam era. Got to the World Cup semi final and nations league final. IF we beat Germany his record will be up there for England. I think Southgate is an ideal international manager, not all club managers make decent international managers. Southgate is well suited to the role. He just needs to let the shackles off a bit more.

This then makes future losses void with the re-submitted accounts as we presumed what we were doing was ok. It’s like going 40mph in a 40 area and then 5 years later being done for speeding after they changed it to a 30.
