  1. Whilst League 1 revenue is lower, costs are also lower. Clowes would be losing a lot more money as a mid table and above Championship team. Probably why recent reports suggesting Warne has his full backing, he's more patient than us to go up. Not suggesting we stay here, make ourselves comfortable, I hate this league. Just the reality of the current state of football and why it needs to change. Looking at Ipswich, that has to be the dream scenario, up up and see ya later. Frustrating thing is, Covid game football it's chance to reset itself, then you have Chelsea go out spending half a billion, Saudi getting involved and the knock on effect has kiboshed any chance of sensible spending. I feel for the Wednesday fans, they have been through a rough time and hope their club can get through and see better days.
  2. Rosenior wasn't even sacked. Was given the job on an interim basis, replacing him, offering a position elsewhere which is declined and said goodbye, is not a sacking.
  3. Thanks, wasn't aware the SGO process was that intense. We have had DBS checks done, house visit etc. for the boys to come to us under the section 20. This morning we're going in to sign the paperwork to make it all official our end. From the first meeting they were pushing for an SGO, wasn't expecting that, by that point I was mentally all in anyway. The parents individually have meetings set for the 1st and 6th November which they are given their final chance with a list of tasks to complete. Not sure on the time frame they will be given but assuming it's weeks rather than years we don't expect them to complete any which will start the SGO process.
  4. Will share this one on here. Jax has taken the role of protector for them.
  5. Could be a couple of things, first a moderator was removing posts which reduced the number of posts in a topic. If you're viewing as a guest, the pages are not updated for 15 minutes. Or if you're viewing as a member then a guest it will look different as the posts are updated every 15 minutes for guests.
  6. Thanks everyone, I tend to share a lot online, open book, just thought I would get it down somewhere so a few of you at least are aware of the new characters in my life. Bit different to the baby announcement with scan picture, then 9 months of build up.
  7. They are from the wife's side of the family, although it was me that immediately said yes. Couldn't live with myself if they were split up and put into the care system away from family. Such characters been entertaining that's for sure! The first nappy was pretty traumatic for myself, as was £90 for these!
  8. I'm hiding in here from 2 kids. Very long story short, we are the great aunt and uncle of 2 young boys, Noah (3), Logan (2). We was approached about becoming guardians for them as their parents are separated and neither in a situation to offer them a stable home. Was no way we could see them go into care so here they are. Currently with us under a section 20 agreement although we expect it to go through to a SGO order in time where they will stay with us until they are 18. Last few weeks been a whirlwind, through work and these I've missed the last two games, so I'm in here hiding from those pair that are giving me full calorie burning sessions. 😂
  9. The best of the crossover fights so far. Not that should be seen as an achievement. Was saying to my mate at the start of the 10th, Ngannou has won this, but won't win it unless he can get the KO. Just how it is, for Ngannou, he lost but won anyway and will have no problem finding another opponent in the ring.
  10. Which topic are you seeing this on?
  11. We do offer monthly subscriptions which remove all adverts from the forum. https://dcfcfans.uk/subscriptions/
  12. Couldn't tell you, surprised they are still open. When was the last time you heard anyone say I fancy a Burger King?
  13. It's the only thing keeping me coming back on. Caught a whopper with Sage earlier, printing it off and sticking it up on the living room wall later!
  14. You're young, single and ready to mingle. Spare a thought for us oldsters under the thumb
  15. If you're young, single, no commitments and a Wolves or Chelsea fan yeah. Can't say I'll be rushing to watch it. Be off to spend time with my family, how it's meant to be done. Boxing Day = Football Day
  16. The Chris Martin effect.
  17. In other news, Christmas Eve football is back with Wolves v Chelsea at 1pm https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/67190696 Another win for the TV companies, another loss for the fans.
  18. Just came here to post this, they paid £55m for him as well, ouch. https://news.sky.com/story/sandro-tonali-newcastle-united-player-will-be-banned-for-10-months-over-betting-scandal-12992879

    Wayne Rooney

Yes, absolutely, however they were in the best position they have been for a while, removed the manager and now lost 2 on the bounce. Fans will no doubt be frustrating and not understand how and why Eustace was shown the door. Saw something the last night, he left after beating WBA 3-1, they were 6th, now they are 12th and WBA are 5th.
  20. There was no mention at all of "outside noise" on the RamsTV version?
  21. It was on Radio Derby https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p0gnkrnq
