Sorry but Bird is not physically fit or strong enough to play at a level higher than this. The guy has zero ambition to improve himself which is a shame because he is decent with ball at feet. But if allowed to drift and stand still he will take it every time rather than burst a b****** trying to influence a match. Warne needs to light a huge rocket under him or just get rid.

Are we really comparing Bird to Thorne? Wow just wow. I knew some Rams fans were deluded but wow. 
 
I don’t get the hype around goals and assists for CDM’s, deeper lying midfielders who get us playing and keep us ticking over like Thorne did. Thorne was always available for the ball and always received it on the half turn and was progressive. Bird hides and is constantly square on so his only option is back to where it’s come from or the other CB.

Fair play to Barnsley, they were quicker on the press and more clinical infront of goal. We can't win every game, the team gave full effort for 90mins. Onwards and upwards, still in the playoffs. Up the rams
