McRamFan reacted to WystonRam in Keogh Sacked
Different approach is basically the fact that Keogh is unable to perform the duties he is employed to do. The other two can and have been disciplined as would be the case in the “normal” employment world. If you are unable to perform the duties you are employed for, and the cause if that is as the case is with Keogh then an employer will be within their rights to offer an alternative role, if one exists, or terminate the contract of employment. This is assuming the club have a company handbook policy in place for all employees, including a clearly defined disciplinary procedure . The fact Derby have offered him an alternative role on £XXXX per week and he refused, means he has refused an alternative role, and I think the club are right to dismiss him.

He is incapable of for-filling his contract. If my company could not do that, the contract would be cancelled, with immediate effect, because the company that gave me the contract has an expectation that I would deliver what I promised.
If something happened during the contract, accidental damage, insurances are there to cover the cost.
However if I went out, and took all the people that I was responsible for and got smashed off their faces, and the next day they failed to deliver, I would fully expect my P45, at the very least, and possible legal action for loss of earnings from the business.
He was the captain, the most senior player there. He failed, he got that drunk he was incapable of looking after himself or the younger players there.
As for the rest, Bennett and Lawerence got caught and where punished to full extent the law and club saw fit. I expect if they got jail time, rare for a first offense, 2 more P45's would be on the printer tray. The others there, either got away with it, or got taxi's.

If he was sober...then letting his teammates drink drive and being a passenger, potentially without a seatbelt... Even worse.

Probably been covered in one of the previous 229 pages but people who are disorganised in airports should be banned from using them.
Not sure you have got all of your documents in order by the time you get to the relevant scanner, booth or checkpoint? Banned.
Got a load of liquids above the allowed limit? Banned.
Just wandered through the scanner with your phone in your pocket? Banned.
Thinking you can stay in the bar and hold everyone up after your flight has been called? Banned.

Companies that call you to sell you stuff, even though you clearly pointed it out for them not too. Sky, signed up a while ago when offered a ridiculously good deal, made it very clear I wanted no calls, no post or emails unless it was directly to do with payments or faults. Bloke called, so I asked is there a problem, he said no, I said is this a sales call, he said no. I asked why the call? He said he could up grade me to sky sports for £10 a month. I said so it is a sales call, he said no it was an upgrade call....couple of mangers later, two months free Sky. Now that is an upgrade!

Five surgeons are discussing what type of person makes the best patient to operate on. The first surgeon, from Belfast City Hospital, says, "I like to see accountants on my operating table because when you open them up, everything inside is numbered." The second, from Antrim Area Hospital, responds, "Yeah, but you should try electricians! Everything inside them is colour coded." The third surgeon, from Royal Belfast Hospital , says, "No, I really think librarians are the best! Everything inside them is in alphabetical order." The fourth surgeon, from Musgrave Park Hospital "You know, I like construction workers...Those guys always understand when you have a few parts left over.' But the fifth surgeon, from Ulster Hospital, Dundonald , shut them all up when he observed: 'You're all wrong. Politicians are the easiest to operate on. There's no guts, no heart, no balls, no brains, and no spine... Plus, the head and the arse are interchangeable.’

Smart Water, ranked 8th and uses Harry Potter magic.....Smartwater is that it’s vapor distilled from water that is pulled from the sky. Only then are electrolytes added for extra taste.

Never understood the need to buy water, bar the fact that it's just adding to the plastic discarded in the world.

I was at work the other day - stacking packets of washing powder in the aisle, when a girl I once went out with came up to me and punched me square in the face...
"What was that for??" I asked
"You lied to me and told me you were a stunt pilot!"
"No - I said I was part of an Ariel display team"

I guess because he fought Wlad that we just assumed AJ would cope with getting hurt better against a lesser opponent but this raises big question marks against his recovery, stamina.
He just looks like a pile of bricks when he's hurt and he seems to take entire rounds for him to even get movement back. He was close to being stopped by Wlad. I mean a couple of the knockdowns last night were just piss poor survival.
Wilder has been rocked numerous times but he survives. AJ turns into a block of wood and starts hooking. He's terrible at trying to initiate a clinch.
He'll come back from this. It's been hard for him being under so much pressure. He takes it well but I think he'll operate better with something to chase again.
All that muscle looks great but he only has stamina when he's controlling the pace. Wlad was always going to test him but I don't think anyone would predict Ruiz Jnr to ask questions. Sure he stood a punchers chance as does everyone at those weights. But to beat AJ up? Wow.
Fury with class as expected. He's a WUM but he's not a knob head. Wilder is a complete tool.
I thought AJ answered any questions over his durability with his win over Povetkin. That last night was really terrible survival.

AJ brought this on himself. Too many months between fights, Ruiz had a 'double' training camp, and has obviously watched AJ a lot. To much 'big picture' and not enough with dealing with what is in front of you. He could struggle to get back, unless Wilder sees this as an easy win.
