My son has a tendency to flip out at the slightest injustice. We have to remind him that he’s normally the one that gets in trouble because he’s flipped out. And he’s getting it, and learning to take a deep breath and walk away. This is an 8 year old. Marinakis might want a word with my son for some tips. But he needs to learn his lesson the hard way.

It's not really a Premier League microcosm - it's a football one, though it is amplified beyond all reason in the premier league.
Footballers and managers exist in an environment where they never have to grow up. They play a game in childhood that someone pays them to do in adulthood, surrounded by similar people and those employed to perfom parental tasks like do the shopping, fix stuff etc.
Whilst this doesn't necessarily apply to all players, there are a lot of children in adult bodies, who never develop emotionally and are used to getting their own way, throwing tantrums etc.
The premier league and media endulge all this like rubbish parents.

Very reminiscent of us with the 'got the league on strings' stuff with MM- seems they learned nothing from us. Very rarely does antagonising powerful governing bodies with no independent regulation end well for the antagoniser (we know better than anyone!) 

Add "bullied by a little brother/cousin as a child" to the list. 😀

its like boro trying to sue us, like promotion was assured if they’d got to the play offs. Ultimately, anyone who watched the game could say they were the second best team. If they’d have won it through 3 penalties, it would’ve been an injustice of a different sort. Forest just need to concentrate on being less s***.
everyone always says in these circumstances that decision even themselves out. And in forests case they really do. It’s crazy that they think they have any platform in which to complain.

What are they expecting to come out of this? Attwell loudly proclaiming "That's a clear penalty! Oh, but my beloved Luton Town..."?

There is an alternate reality somewhere where the penalties are awarded and the miss them all.

What I don't get is, all their fans crying that there's a conspiracy against them.  Like if these decisions went their way they'd be pulling a Leicester and blowing the fabled Top 6 out the water.  Even if they'd gotten half of the 'supposedly' dodgy calls in their favour, they'd still be sh!t, just sh!t with a few more points.  But instead of pointing the finger at the fat bar-steward of a chairman, dross players or the crappy recruitment team, they're deflecting.  They should face up to the fact that they've blown close to £300 million to go backwards, instead of believing that the EPL are scared of them becoming the next Premier League powerhouse, and somehow sticking it to the elite  It's not the 70's anymore...
