  1. No judgement here! Is she selling some?
  2. No official word from Netflix as yet, but apparently season 2 is already in development. Late 2025 early 2026 the forecast.
  3. If a graph, a pie chart and a venn diagram had a drunken threesome, I think I now know what their illegitimate love-sprog might look like.
  4. Scroll past the predictions and there's some interesting head-to-head stats here for Derby / Blackpool games over the years if anyone is interested. Quick scan seems to show we have done well against them, historically speaking, especially in the last decade or so, not that it has any bearing on Friday's fixture, but perhaps a crumb of comfort nonetheless. I've run a quick search on the page and you'll be delighted to know that it appears to be an xG free zone too. https://www.fctables.com/h2h/blackpool/derby1/#:~:text=Derby won 11 direct matches,a 3.06 goals per Match. Also, had a quick gander at the Blackpool forum and it's very quiet. Did see this that made me chuckle given the game's on Friday anyway: Bit lemon, I thought and not strictly accurate either, but we'll let him off given he's a tangerine and we like them 😋
  5. Surreal wasn't it? By that I mean a fish could probably change a wheel as quickly.
  6. Gaza war: UN rights expert accuses Israel of acts of genocide A UN human rights expert says she believes Israel has committed "acts of genocide" in Gaza. Francesca Albanese, the UN special rapporteur on human rights in the occupied Palestinian territories, presented her report to UN member states in Geneva on Tuesday. But Israel has already dismissed her findings. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-68667556 Meanwhile... Israel says UN resolution damaged Gaza ceasefire talks Israel says Hamas's rejection of a current proposal for a Gaza truce deal with Israel shows the "damage" done by the UN Security Council resolution demanding an immediate ceasefire. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office said Israel would not surrender to what it called the Palestinian armed group's "delusional demands". They include an end to the war and the complete withdrawal of Israeli forces. The US called the Israeli statement "inaccurate in almost every respect". https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-68665247
  7. I'm going to give season 2 a look. Bloodline's first season took a while to get going, but I liked it. My next two will be Shogun and This Town, both of which I'm really looking forward to. Will check out Coma as I've not heard of that. As for Better, I gave it a go but didn't persist. I can't remember why though. I think perhaps it all felt a bit run of the mill.
  8. Nah, youth loan so we can bring him back mate. My slight lingering doubt would be the class lift, but he's strong and deceptively quick and would at least create some space for others. He'll be a handful for most CBs anyway as he's really physical and I reckon and that's appealing as without either Collo or Gayle, fit and firing, we look quite easy to defend against. Now we have Barks and Nate out too, we have to find a different way. Hopefully Wags and Wash make my thinking look silly come Friday with a brace a piece 🙏
  9. Having advocated for him initially to get games in the cup ties, my ardour cooled a little at the prospect of him being around the 1st team, but surely he has to be in the reckoning now. He's literally the only striker we have fit, match sharp and scoring for fun, albeit at a significantly lower level. I'd be seriously considering getting him back to PP while his confidence is sky high.
  10. That's just Elon's stats, no? Can't tear himself away, the poor lad, he's on it 24/7! In all seriousness though, is anything on Twitter (apart from Elon) that is actually alive, or is it just a gazillion pesky bots these days? As far as I can see, on the hot topics, it's just a bunch of folk 'debating' mostly AI generated 'engagement content', all blissfully unaware they're arguing with a software program. We were told that all the Blue Tick stuff was expressly intended to identify accounts actually owned by sentient beings and fund the rooting out of the bot farms, hence the verification fees charged to his loyal human users. What happened to that then? Sadly for Elon and his followers, advertisers won't be fooled anyway, as they already had compelling reasons for jumping ship and won't return until Twitter is in new ownership.
  11. But as far as rumours go, it's an absolute doozy!
  12. This guy seems fairly balanced when he assesses this sort of stuff and I think this summarises the Alonso incident pretty well:
  13. I don't know whether to laugh or cry. It does not, however, erase the US and UK complicity in Israel's war crimes and at the appropriate time, questions must be asked of those responsible for allowing the atrocities to continue. What happens next is perhaps less clear, but will the Israelis want to risk their 'gains' by defying the UN ceasefire? I suspect there'll be some IDF sabre-rattling, before a climbdown paraded as a victory by Netanyahu and his supporters, the only question being, how much of the land-grab will remain in Israeli hands? I hope that is considered and I also hope that aid and food can now be delivered insufficient levels that the recipients can avoid famine and disease. FROM THE BBC The UN Security Council has called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, after the US did not veto the measure in a shift from its previous position. It also demanded the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages. It is the first time the council has called for a ceasefire since the war began in October after several failed attempts. The move by the US signals growing divergence between it and its ally Israel over Israel's offensive in Gaza. In an unusually strong rebuke, a statement from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office said the US had "abandoned" its previous position which had directly linked a ceasefire to a hostage release. "Regrettably, the United States did not veto the new resolution," it said. The statement said this harmed efforts to release hostages by giving Hamas hope it could use international pressure on Israel to achieve a ceasefire without freeing the captives. It also said Mr Netanyahu had decided to cancel meetings between an Israeli delegation and US officials in Washington that were scheduled for this week. Israel's defence minister said Israel would not stop the war in Gaza while hostages were still being held there. Full story here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-68658415
  14. BBC News: A US judge has thrown out a lawsuit brought by Elon Musk's social media firm X against a group that had claimed that hate speech had risen on the platform since the tech tycoon took over. X had accused the Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH) of taking "unlawful" steps to access its data. The US judge dismissed the case and said it was "evident" Mr Musk's X Corp did not like criticism. X said it planned to appeal. Imran Ahmed, founder and chief executive of CCDH, celebrated the win, saying Mr Musk had conducted a "loud, hypocritical campaign" of harassment and abuse against his organisation in an attempt to "avoid taking responsibility for his own decisions". 15. It's pretty hard to keep up with the plethora of injuries and the estimates on how long said players will take to return. Suffice to say it's pretty grim reading in any case and I see some are saying Ebou is now out too. If that's the case, then we're bang in the doodoo I'm afraid, as opposed to our current status which I'd describe as mildly decimated. That said, there's a match to be played, so based on what has been confirmed to date, but is equally subject to daily change, I'd go with the following: A hopefully more mobile and solid looking 4 at the back, let's start from a solid foundation, at least. I'd have Wilson and Elder either side of the two who pick themselves, Cash and Nelson. Before the Sibley fan club get irate, he still in my starting 11, I'd just push him right up the field to play off / behind Waghorn and look to make hay with Wilson and Ward paired on the right flank. CBT remains an unknown to me but he looks the only sensible option we have right now to provide some sort of threat on the left. Lord knows I'd love to see the lad step up, as if ever there was a time to make a name for himself, it's now. He does show promise, but we need something rather more tangible come Friday night. Elsewhere, Smith comes in for Hourihane. We must front up early and I think we'll be more able to do so without sacrificing too much passing ability, with Korey in a 3 and Conor an option later in the game as legs tire. Waggy completes the line up, but is only marginally favoured over Washington. I might even be tempted to start the latter as I believe he will stretch defences more than a strangely subdued looking Waghorn. Waggy gets the nod by a cat's whisker. The starters aside, I'll wait to see who we have available and remotely fit, but even just for the psychological lift, it'd be grand to see Collo tamping at the bit in the dugout. Likewise, could young Jake Rooney figure? Robinson and Weston, along with the skipper and Thommo, seem likely candidates for the bench too. I do think it's all about this game now. Win and with players perhaps returning the following week (or with another week under their belts at least), we could be back on track. Conversely, slide to another defeat and all momentum will be lost. With Pompey sat in wait, that's a fairly grim prospect, least it is for yours truly. Suffice to say it's a huge weekend for club and fans and on that note, the first time we've actually had something to play for in a few seasons now, something I've overlooked if truth be told, so that's some small silver lining, at least! 16. Newey to Ferrari and suddenly all becomes clear...
  17. Really good F1 race too. I actually stayed up as we were late home anyway and I thought Sainz drove beautifully for the win. Of course he was aided by Verstappen's mechanical woes, but he actually looked to be able to match the MV's pace even before the failed brake became evident. It'll doubtless be normal service resumed after this but with no RBR vanishing off up the road, we saw some decent dicing right through the field today. Mercedes' woes continue it seems. I think the insane power output and straight-line speed the hybrid engine tech they developed during the era of their dominance, probably masked their cars' mediocre aero performance and handling. I did sometimes watch Hamilton putting in insane laps during quali while thinking, 'faaarkk, that car is rapid but it's also trying to kill you', but Lewis was a hard racer and the best of his generation too. Is he still that guy though? That W15 does not look safe at times though and they clearly do not know why the performance is so up and down, but do we really see him prospering at Ferrari? I'm not sure anymore.
  18. Whenever I watch the start of of these MotoGP races, as they all pile into the first corner, in my head I'm shouting 'banzai'. No idea why, but clearly my brain thinks it's appropriate!
