  1. It's like the rise of Skynet, only the machines aren't trying to wipe out humanity, they're trying to make Musk look a massive t*** 😂
  2. Can you hear that? That's the noise of Grok's lead engineers, packing up their desks and heading for the exit. Publicly, he'll try to laugh it off, but you just know how much this will actually infuriate him. God I'd love to be a fly on the wall for the resulting zoom meeting. I'd mute the mic obvs 😂
  3. I'll have a listen again, but what you've written above does not imply he bought the club to 'shore up' the stadium value, only that in buying the club, the value of the stadium was 'shored up' as you put it. That's rather different to stating categorically that he ONLY bought the club to protect the value of his stadium investment, which I think is a somewhat disparaging and unfair observation.
  4. Racing 92 not Toulouse - sorry if any of you were looking for the game using the wrong info! ðŸĪŠ Here's some short highlights with Marcus Smith playing an absolute blinder:
  5. 1 win from their last 12 league outings LMFAO. It's staggering that they can spend as much as they have and still be absolutely gash. At this point, I think only Sheffield, Burnley are worse than this gumps roster as Luton are now showing enough fight to close the gap. Everton will go past Forest like a knife through butter, so make no mistake, this gumptard shower of shoyte could well be bang in it if they don't get the big lummox back soon, as he appears their only significant goal threat.
  6. Only caught the highlights, but those were some hateful body shots from Billam-Smith. Masternak has apparently got broken ribs ðŸ˜ą
  7. Absolute nonsense. The terms happy-clappers, blind-faithers, deluded, fanbois, et al are literally all over the forum.
  8. I think 'pro-Warne' is a misnomer. I think most who have remained supportive, did so because they felt another change in manager was setting the club up for another yet more time wasted on the merry-go-round and also that the team's form was not so awful that he warranted sacking anyway. I think very few have blindly followed Warne, but rather have simply stuck with him and it's nice to see some return for their patience, with the lads performing better and the forum less fighty. Steady improvement and some consistency obviously makes it a deal easier to retain faith than it has been for much of the first half of the season, but I'm not sure I've seen anyone doing victory laps, to be fair, which is to their credit after some of the nonsense we've seen levelled at them.
  9. Not seen the fight, but will have a peep this evening. Not a fan of Haney at all, with all the stupid s*** he comes out with, but I did think he'd have too much for Prograis. I want to see him fight Loma again. I still think the Ukrainian is the superior fighter.
  10. 1Wildsmith - 7.0 how many clean sheets is that in the last 10? Not always had much to do but does what he needs to dependably 23Ward - 6.0 Understandably looks a little rusty 7 Barkhuizen - 6.5 Will be popping Nate on his Christmas card list, so badly did he need a goal. Confidence boost perhaps? I hope so as he's a decent squad player when on it and he's not been for a little while now 35Nelson - 7.5 Loving our defence right now and this lad is a hefty part of the reason why 6Cashin - 6.5 not his best game, but tidy enough 3Forsyth - 7.0 Man crush 4Hourihane - 8.0 Best game in a while. When you see him passing the ball the way he did yesterday, you wonder why he doesn't do it more often, but with the team committing more players forward, perhaps he'll prosper 22Fornah - 6.5 - Solid enough cameo 2Wilson - 8.0 - He and Nate the standouts for me. Close control to die for and he gets folk on their feet every time he runs at a player. A cracking signing. 17Sibley - 7.0 - Quietly effective, but that goal! Has to deliver consistency but perhaps netting will give him the confidence to do so. He's a very talented lad. 5Bradley - 6.5 - See 'Fornah' 8Bird - 7.0 Lad's a Rolls Royce. Not his strongest outing, but some of his passing was excellent and he looks in prime form 11MÃĐndez-Laing - 9.0 the heartbeat of the side right now. Takes the ball on the turn and looks to trouble defenders every time. Putting Barks in for goal when he'd likely have netted himself shows he's very much about the team and he's in the form of his life right now. 39Brown - 6.5 - Got a run out but little chance to shine. Was busting a gut to get forward though so he gets a half over the median from me 9Collins - 5.5 Horrid day for Collo. Missed a couple that were easier to score, then took a nasty cheap shot right in the face. Worked very hard, but this was an outing to forget in all other regards. 19John-Jules - 6.5 Very unlucky not to maintain his super-sub streak. This lad brings some real pace to side and seems to strike the ball sweetly with almost no back lift. I think he'll score plenty in this league assuming we keep hold of him. Warne Watch: Another good day at the office. On another day, we might well have conceded, but generally speaking, he has sorted out a defence that looked quite porous and we're also now seeing some style and understanding from the attacking players. I also think this is probably the fittest Derby side I've seen in yonks. Six players charging up the pitch with only minutes to go and the game already well won is really quite noteworthy.
  11. They're completely different players so comparing goal output is an irrelevant distraction. Both lads are highly talented, they just do different things.
  12. Couldn't tell at the time and even the highlights didn't make it clear, but seeing that, it's a proper cheap shot and a red card all day long.
  13. Care to provide a citation? I don't recall him saying anything of the sort.
  14. Because he wants to ensure that his principle aims of restoring the club's footing and delivering a sustainable future are both achieved. Did that really require explaining?
  15. Trip back to the smoke and a nice performance away from home and 3 more valuable points. I thought we rode our luck a little at times, but by and large we defended well again and the clean sheet will delight Warne and the coaches. Great to see Sibbo grab a goal. The lad only seems to score beautiful goals and how he squeezed it beyond the keeper but inside the far post is a wonder to me. Zero margin for error and yet made it look simple. I think we'd all love to see the lad hit top form as there's no doubt he brings a goal threat that others don't. I think only Max could match Louie's ball-striking, so come on SIbbo, more of the same please lad! I'm running out of superlatives for Nate who was yet again, the absolute standout. He's definitely fitter this season (as it appears is the entire squad) and the lad ran hard all game, looked threatening every time he touched the ball and earned himself huge brownie points with me for the unselfish way he put Barks in, perhaps aware that if anyone desperately needed a goal, it was Tom. Wilson was again a box of tricks and the little shimmy and drag to glide away from 3 Orient defenders and put Sibbo in was a delight. A quick word too for Max Bird who is starting to look like the player we all thought he could be. He's been majestic in recent outings and again yesterday, some of his passing was sublime. Warne is then keeping himself in good credit with me and the way we countered yesterday with 4, 5 even 6 bodies busting a gut to get up the pitch was a stark change from early season showings, where we looked off it and even disinterested. Lots of promise, a little more pace and a growing understanding among the players, but still some work to do. That said, I think I'd have been very pleased to sit handy like we are currently, if offered it at the start of the season and I really hope we can maintain the levels and push hard for top 2. We are THE form side in the division currently so I genuinely believe we can, as I think there's still more to come. COYR
  16. Arundell continues to score at an average of over one try per game in Toulouse. Interesting that they appear to be switching him to 15, presumably to get him ball in hand and in space more often. To say I'm jealous is something of an understatement and it's fair to say the locals have rather taken a shine to him. I cant say I know what he's like under a spiral bomb, but assuming he's at least adequate (starting at 15 for Toulouse suggests he might be) then what a prospect he is running from deep or on the angle. Seething, I am! 😂 Also, had not realised that Saffa skipper Siya Kolisi lad joined them this season as well and the French sides look terrifying, even if you set aside La Rochelle (and frankly, who will do that?!?!). For any of you thinking a libation or several and a game of rugby from the warmth of your living room might trump the 9th Christmas market of the season, Toulouse take on the Quins tomorrow @5.30PM and I wouldn't put anyone off watching the game, which really ought to be a belter. Bah humbug!
  17. Slight tangent, but this reminded me of this guy in Ohio
  18. If you happen to be unfortunate enough within 50 miles of Nottingham, you might, I suppose get some banter, but then that's your own stupid fault for not moving. At a more than safe radius of 125 miles, I can honestly say I've never had anyone laugh it up at the Mighty Rams' expense except for my lad and a spending a week chained to a lawn mover in a locked garage seems to have dissuaded him from ever mentioning it again.
  19. I'll do no such thing you filthy beggar!
  20. Yeah, he's definitely cute. All the whippet / greyhound types are good looking hounds. He looked resigned more than pissed off anyway 😂
  21. He doesn't look wildly impressed with his new hat 😂
  22. Soz mate. We really are a bunch of ****s 😂 Have a look at these. https://www.footyparking.com/parking/teams/Leyton-Orient https://en.parkopedia.co.uk/parking/near/leyton-orient-football-club-ltd/?arriving=202312081330&leaving=202312081530 Some more advice from locals here: https://forum.thefishy.co.uk/Blah.pl?m-1658126018/
