This is how I see it....
Two triangles - one on the left, one of the right - involving the full back, the winger, and a supporting midfield link man
The choice is then where to play the 11th man.
    4 options
between the centre backs - the 3 at the back option which allows the wing backs to push on in holding midfield -which allows the central midfielders to push on and protects the centre backs the no10 - the deep lying striker playing in the hole a second striker What’s interesting is the options that don’t exist.
playing two holding midfielders playing a holding midfielder and a no10 ...and even worse
playing two holding midfielders and a no10 The latter three options just knacker the midfield - as you have to sacrifice the orthodox midfield link men for defensive midfielders or attacking midfielders, and this makes it harder to get up the pitch. Effectively the team loses the all important midfield triangles and so reverts to a rowett hoof or the full backs have to progress up the pitch without much help (Cocu).
we seem to like to play the mac1 system with one holding midfield player.

That seems like a good starting point. The players that should be a natural fit are highlighted.
1 Roos or Mitchell or hamer
    2 bogle
    3 lowe or malone
    4 wisdom or davies
5 bielik or Evans or huddlestone
    6 fozzy
7 Lawrence or Bennett or jozefzoon or Mitchell-lawson or holmes
8 Holmes or knight or paterson
9 Martin or waghorn or Marriott or rooney
10 Shinnie or dowell or sibley
11 we haven’t really got one...maybe whittaker Or jozefzoon out of position

Thats as good as we have got.
after that it’s about getting better players.

    Finished 😀

    Speak for yourself.
I'd rather take a lower wage, and know the most vulnerable, needy and disadvantaged of the society I live in get to enjoy at least the basic standard of living that the 5th largest economy in the world could easily support.
Near on a decade of Tory rule, and what progress has been made under the small state mantra?
Rising levels of homelessness, disabled people treated like second class subjects and refused the benefits they're entitled to on the say so of a private company's healthcare assessments, stopping much needed help only for the large majority to be overturned on appeal, months later and when some have been driven to suicide by the delay.
Every single NHS target missed over multiple years, whether waiting times in A&E, referral to a specialist, start of cancer treatment or even how long you'll wait for an ambulance.
Far less doctors, nurses and GP's than was promised, and certainly far less than needed.
The privatised Probation system, which required multiple bailouts before even the government gave up the ghost and began bringing it back in house, but not before it allowed convicted criminals back into society with minimal checks on whether the individual was safe, supported and ready to be released.
The dismantling of the legal aid system, which means amongst other things Dominic Raab can tell a Norfolk couple they'll have to fund the pursuit of the American serviceman's wife who killed their son by running him down while on the wrong side of the road, that they'll have to chase justice at their own cost.
Justice is still accessible, as long as you can afford it, if not tough.
Still, the growth of foodbanks shows not everything is going backwards.
    Part One rant over!

If it's from the council, pay it as they will chase and take you to court.
If its from a private firm, ParkingEye, Europarks etc then just ignore it. Other than the threat letters, it costs them more to take you to court than is worth to them.
I must have had 8 in my lifetime I haven't paid. Just chuck the letters in the bin.

    Get yourselfs a meat thermometer.
As long as no part of the bird is less than 70c then its safe to eat and will be juicy at that level.
Oh and remember to let it rest for an hour.

when you say "rap", do you mean verbally describe what you are doing, but with a nice jingly tune in the background... and maybe throw in a bit of beat box!
My bird has a large breast.
When cooked, I let it rest.
    Tastes better with bread sauce,
and thick gravy, of course. (Innit!)
    etc, etc...

The only dissapointing aspect of today is to read on here again our fans choosing to upset other Rams fans over a game of football.
