I like the change to the sixth Clowes, it really takes it to the next level.

I quite like this one, stolen from Luke Bowden on Twitter:
Going on up to the spirit in the sky
Gonna see Cloughie, and Dave Mackay
Gonna reminisce and have some fun
About the 2 league titles that we won

Rosenior seems to be a fit for the club, strangely enough it was Manky Mel that brought him in, but rather than recognise his abilities he preferred to keep him in the shadow of his celebrity managers. Meanwhile Rosey has been able to step back, bide his time, and look at the club without the pressure of being manager. If he’s successful I think he’ll want to stay and build something special here, whereas with MM’s celebrities you always felt that we were a stepping stone to something bigger. Again, I’ve no evidence for any of that and it’ll probably come back to haunt me, but, yes, it feels good.

“Go West, young man” as some wise person once said.
Dont go east, you’re likely to bump into some right knob ‘eds.

They do appear to have got off with writing off huge losses, yes.
Unless someone points it out to the EFL in three years time, and threatens to sue them.

I would very much doubt it.
Do people who are complaining realise the commitment these people who go to 15 or 20+ away games in season?
Especially last season when they got very few results for their efforts.
The cost is massive, for me and my lad to go to an away game you’re looking at something between £100-250, hotels, train fares, fuel, food and drinks etc., but time commitments as well, you’ve got to make it your priority above virtually everything else in your life.
Blackburn away on a Tuesday night when we’ve lost however many away games on the trot takes massive commitment.
id gladly give up my ticket if I got one and someone in the 15-20+ bracket didn’t.

It’s not the new club owners fault that we’re going to smaller grounds, there has to be some way of dishing out tickets, and it wouldn’t be at all fair on someone who goes to most away games to miss out to someone who rarely goes. There’s no easy way of saying it’s hard luck if you fancy a day out at Forest Green.

I wasn’t specifically having a go at you, but at the general moaning about the allocation. No offence intended ?

curb got a reaction from David in Petition to Derby to remove our relationship to gambling companies
If a non gambling company is prepared to sponsor us for a similar amount then I would prefer it if we chose them over a betting company. It’s not stopping people from betting, if that’s what they want to do that’s up to them, but we would appear more empathetic towards the problem, which wouldn’t be a bad thing.
