  1. If you're the NER that I think you are, I'm sorry to hear of the ill health buddy. Oh... and a great big 🍻 to you!
  2. Come on Derby. Do it for the travelling fans. I wouldn't begrudge them. 🐏🤞
  3. Anyone want a ticket for the Carlisle match? 🤣
  4. Well mate, we gave it a bloody good go! Congratulations to Pompey for finishing in top spot, and here's to us joining them in promotion, very, very soon! 🐏
  5. #Oooooooooooooooooh! #Meh! #Ha Ha! #etc...
  6. Pompey level, and stand on 92 points. We can still reach 92 points, and have a 3 goal advantage on GD. They will be promoted as it stands, but need a winner to confirm top spot.
  7. As it stands, Pompey promoted despite losing... Derby 3 pts clear of Bolton, and 5 goals better off on GD. All with 2 to play... As it stands, remember...
  8. To avoid confusion, mine was when the away fans were in the Ossie End. Can't even remember why I did it now. I assume there was still a pay on the gate option back then? I was in the lower tier of the seats at the back (Can't remember whether the front/open bit was still terrace, or had gone to all seater by then). I'm guessing your examples were (lots of) away fans in the home end?
  9. I remember doing that years ago, for similar reasons. Ossie End Lower tier, surrounded by Wolves. A truly awful experience. (Absolutely no idea what the score was, or even the year!)
  10. 40 min 1-1 (Cameron Jerome!) 43 mins 1-2 EDIT: Half time... shrews lead... Bolton 4 points behind us, with half a game in hand! 😁
  11. Not sure the use of our "Major Incident alert" photo is appropriate for them to use, just for a bit of a ticket update! 👀
  12. Priority entrance (more than 10mins before kick off): £3.50 Pi55: £1 Pie & Pint meal deal: £22.50 Added time: £2 per minute or part thereof... each half Aisle seat: £7.50 Baggage security check by steward (Mandatory): £12.00 per bag Ticket check by steward (Mandatory): £15.00 per ticket
  13. Answer: To avoid being caught up in a damp squib/dead rubber! 👀 Allow me to offer an example, based on a true story... The potential to play at the Stad de MK Hockey, needing a result to avoid relegation... Leave it too late to glean away tickets by the official DCFC route... Go to the bother of signing up to become a Wimbledon fan! Fail first attempt to buy tickets from Wimbledon, due to home postcode. Come up with the cunning plan to use sister's (then) Southend address, and subsequently (successfully) order 6 tickets for delivery, which of course then required posting from Southend to Derby! For the record, this tele-con Included a beautifully delivered Mockney accent and quotes of "No, I haven't been to the MK Hockey ground before, so no preference to which stand the tickets are for", and the classic yet calmly delivered "But I used to attend Selhurst regularly back in the day" (Unquote)! Beat Millwall at home a week before, thus surviving the threat of relegation. Attend aforementioned Damp squib/dead rubber at the Stad de MK Hockey, and despite the lovely weather and good numbers of Rams fans (in both away and indeed the home sections), by god, what an absolute s*** game (and atmosphere) that was! Lose 1-0, etc. Still a Wimbledon fan, as far as I'm aware, etc. Meh. etc 🤣

  15. Well, technically the first "oar" was replacing "Oh". Mine was replacing "or". However, I'm a self-confessed stickler for rules, and have a personal hatred of repeat puns, so I'll take the yellow card on the chin. You can be quite stern when you want to! But I don't eight you for it. I just can't believe I Blue it! (etc...) 🍻
  16. I'm gonna wait for Cashin to win the April vote for his 94th minute winner v Carlisle.
  17. Aha! I'm with yer! I totally missed that! NOW it scans! 👀 ... Beautifully! 😁👍🍻
  18. Colours mean nothing, blame less so. When we recall, 35 years ago. The 97, who no longer cheer, The grace of God, keeps the rest of us here. It could have been you. It could have been me. Que sera, sera, it wasn't to be. So spare them a minute. Spare them respect. For the family of football, for the families since wrecked. Just one minute, to remember those lost. Whatever the cause, T'was one hell of a cost. Never forget the 97, As they look down, from their Kop up in heaven. xxx
