Van der MoodHoover got a reaction from Comrade 86 in The Rugby Union Thread
I've actually been impressed with how Borthwick is trying to move England forward. Still one or two of the "tried and failed" to ease out of the squad and gutted not to see feyi-wabosi this week.
Should be a close game against France who have really suffered worst from post WC hangover.
I'm welded into my recliner for the day ( once I get home from walking the dog to the local pub)๐

Watched France v England u20 6 nations last night.
What a game.
2 completely opportunistic interception tries for England, including one where France had a 3 on 1 and looked odds on to score.
3 brilliant tries by France who went into a 21-5 lead in the first half.
A massive 23 stone bloke called Tuilagi playing for France.....
A superb comeback by England.
Both teams scoring a bonus point.
Really well reffed....not a TMO in sight (that's you Marius)
Final score 45-31 to England.

Belter huh! At half time I was swearing at the telly. At full time i was somewhat moistย ๐ย Most of the French lads are playing top 14 rugby too, around 270 caps between them, versus about 30 for their English counterparts and initially, it showed, but boy did they knuckle down.ย
Posolo Tuilagi has already had caps for the senior men's team, which tells how seriously the French where taking it in front of a partisan, but good natured crowd. A wonderful advert for the game, not forgetting a very talented young Irish side who snatched a draw against us in the previous round to deny us the slam. I'd say the future of the 6N is looking mighty tasty.

I watched Winchester RFC the other week against Witney.
Didn't bear much resemblance to 6N rugby as described.
More like formation mugging......

Trying to think in L1..... Currently there isn't many I'd despise. Evans certainly, the fat swindler. Ferguson at Posh and don't really warm to Ritchie wellens at Orient.
Other than that tho.....compared to last season when there was Joey Barton, Steve cotterill, that whiney scouser at Plymouth and that other old whiner at accrington......I'm finding myself short of hate figures......

That's true, i don't think anyone has had a bad word to say about Evatt to be fair.

Yeah - evatt isn't a dislikeable character tho is he?
Perhaps he should praise Steve Evans' ballroom dancing elegance...

Itโs about time we had a decent ref. Got all the big decisions in our favour. Itโs about time someone sees the game the way I see it. Good on you ref.

Digging in and sweating it out against 10 men, but got over the line.
Maybe it's practice for Saturday when a narrow win v Bolton will be just what we need.

By the look of that goal they didn't need a tall striker.
Someone must have filled wildsmiths boots with concrete as well......

I'd like a 3rd. And 4th.
Never trust us to sit on a 1 goal lead.
