Van der MoodHoover got a reaction from The Scarlet Pimpernel in Stephen Pearce on Radio Derby 6pm Tuesday
I absolutely do not understand football club valuations. They seem to defy all commercial logic given all bar the handful who win everything and have global brands run at a loss.

Aha. Must be a controversial appointment to distract us from the fact he's carp....

Had some unfounded dog bothering rumours and some confirmed disability piss taking video as I recall. That ended his career entirely for a bit, don't know if he's still on a track back.

Was that just after Nigel referred to Boston as "that fat convicted tax fraudsters team"?

Van der MoodHoover got a reaction from Comrade 86 in The match day feel good factor
I think the feel good factor was made especially good by the years of being turned over by poo housing teams.
From Eddie howes Burnley, through uwe roslers various mobs and even that little beardy bloke in charge of Rotherham......
Felt great to land on the right side of one of those results for the first time in living memory.

Even I, the Master of Misery, the Prince of Pusillanimity, the Czar of Criticism admit that I feel a warm waft of satisfaction this evening at the outcome today.
Or I've soiled myself....

It really was one of those games where hindsight puts a very different perspective on things.
First half we set up to outfight them. Pretty dire match with the only chances from our defence making a mess with headers.
Second half we started to make attacking changes and became the better team.
Still created precious little until NML burst through and Sibley neatly finished what was barely a half chance.
So...was it a tactical masterclass where we won the game pretty much exactly as Warne's tactics aimed to?
Or were we overly negative, forced to make changes and then a moment of magic won us a game we barely deserved to, against a bang average team at home?
Hindsight now says the former, but it could very easily be that the alternative was the over riding emotion.
I know football is often like that, but today really was an occasion where the result trumps everything.
Bradley was immense. Adams... Cashin....
Our match winners did very little but that's the way it goes.

Excellent. A vital 3 points. For me it's a win despite of rather than because of the manager, but at least we got over the line. Sibley should have been on the field 81 minutes earlier, but at least he was finally brought on with a whole 9 minutes to score the goal. Come on you Rams!
