Why can’t we all just be pleased we’ve signed a player for a fee, albeit a loan fee instead of analysing how it might or might be structured.  Maybe it’s a legacy from mad Mel.  We’re no longer run by someone who got a bit lucky in the IT world, we’re now run by, in my opinion, a sensible businessman.
Lets just enjoy it as another step on the road to being run like a “normal” football club.

I liked the breathtaking young Rooney with his world-leading brilliance and love for the game. It didn't last long. For a decade he became an impediment to the England team. His arrival at Derby completely undermined Cocu, who had the potential to do something special at our club, if Mel hadn't insisted on this absurd bit of tinkering. Yet in the administration season, with the club leaderless, Rooney stepped up and held everything together which was an immense task - over those months, despite being a poor football manager, he was a magnificent leader of men, and I'll remember him fondly for that. But after he buggered off my attitude to him is now much more "meh". I don't especially associate him with us mentally, and I don't care about him or Birmingham. I do care that Paul Warne isn't making nearly enough of some talented players at his disposal (including but not limited to Cash) which means those players will almost certainly leave. In which case I don't care where they go, as long as we get the most money for them. But it will be heartbreaking as they should be at the club leading us to promotion.

From what I could see yesterday a error from Curtis cost us a point, which he has stuck his hand up to.  We looked the better team in spells, although I would say the result was fair as Ipswich were the better team over the 90.
The team that finishes above them with win the league, we have a thin depleted sqaud and with injuries to contend with.  Let's come back down to earth and keep our feet on the ground, I can see with a little recruitment in January us making the play-offs, considering where we were 4 months ago that would be one a hell of an achievement......

Have faith we are re-building and I feel Warne is the right man for the job!

I mean, define average? We are in League One. They and Plymouth are by far the best teams I’ve seen Derby play this season.
They were very good League One standard sides.
Plymouth and Ipswich both looked fitter, stronger, more organized and above all better on the ball.
I saw a gap between us. A gap we aren’t going to close this season.
Still, I’m not writing the season off. Automatic promotion may be beyond us but I see no reason not to challenge for a top six spot.
Portsmouth and Posh know their way around this league. Sheffield Wednesday will be top six too.
But that leaves a spot. Bolton, Charlton and Barnsley will probably be contenders but I see no reason why with a decent January we can’t finish above them.

The Ipswich fans I spoke to last night said we were the best team they had seen at Portman Road this season.
The General consensus was it was a matter of a mistake one way or the other that would separate the two teams, and indeed it did.
    onwards and upwards COYR ???

Christ,it's all gone dramatically negative after a narrow loss against a top 2 established side, especially amongst our die hard Liam (never actually in charge ) rosenior supporters...
Reminds me of the remainers who were desperately praying for the country to fail, just to prove they were right....they may be,I don't know but it's all rather unsavoury to watch.
Personally,I've actually rather enjoyed watching us play under Warne, there's an energy and aggression that's infectious (and I never thought I'd say that I like that style of play after being a massive fan of possession football under Mac).
Perhaps it's because Liam's style of possession football was so dull,so boring and plodding,so devoid of forward energy and attempts on goal that it stupified me into wanting something more exciting to watch and we now have just that for better or worse.
Warnes football will get us promoted in the long term,I've no doubt about that and I think we will ultimately win a lot more than we lose, even in his first season (plus I don't expect to see many draws,as we are balls out,all the time) but it's going to take time and personnel to finish the job and close our current weak areas off.
We only have the one club guys and Liam's gone,so let's get behind the gaffer...it's going to be a very long four years if we don't.

I just hope some of our  Moronic fans don’t hound him out when things aren’t going how they think it should ! I’d be disappointed if he had to take the same abuse as MM has!  Some fans have very short memories.

gotta say, I’m not overly concerned, and still expect it to go through, but I’m astounded that between the lot of them (was it a dozen or more attorneys alone? Plus all these high powered businessmen, plus highly qualified and highly paid “accountants” (Q), who must surely know the workings of the banking world like the back of their hand, not a single one of them thought to factor in possible banking delays due to bank holidays!
Anyone worth their salt should have been advising last week “Hopefully next week, but with the combination of 3 bank holiday days, that may prove to be a tough ask, so it’s possible it may extend to the following week. Don’t panic etc…”.

I can’t work out whether it’s amateurish, blatant lies, or just a piss take!  ?

And exactly how do you know he ran away from the mess? David, who runs this site says he was owed money for ads for Derby which he stopped doing as soon as went into admin. And that's  the point of going into admin...  to protect the creditors, otherwise the debts just get bigger and bigger.
You assume that the alternative was Morris could pay these debts himself. Some other posters on here say he has loads of money in his bank account.
Well personally i haven't seen his bank account.  But our debts are £56 million, and still growing apparently. You think he has that much in realisable funds?  Well he may do, but I haven't seen any evidence of it anywhere in all of the Gellaw companies , any Companies he has any significant control over he seems to have nothing there at all.  So I wouldn't make such sweeping statements without being sure of my ground.
And I think he did try hard to avoid admin. He tried (for over two years) to sell the club. So it really isn't true he just walked away is it?
Of course Morris has messed up. But that doesn't mean he is trying to shaft us. Unlike Gibson and Couthig, who really are.

Simple question I'd be asking the BZG lot right now,
"if you can't find the cash for the takeover how do you expect to finance the club on an ongoing basis?"
I suspect the answer will be to asset strip, as I can't really see any other way of them being able to do it.
We need to sack these jokers off as soon as possible, they will be the ruin of us.

Of course the offset is the losses that we are generating.

It’s not disability discrimination more of a frustration of contract due to sickness in relation to not being able to do his contracted job of employment ( attempt to play football) I am sure that if he had been injured cutting the grass he wouldn’t have been dismissed from his job, yet he was due to his own contributory negligence under the influence of a substance and as a very senior employee he should have known what he was doing.
Derby have very recent history of looking after players, employees, when there are not under obligation to do so - Shaun Barker, contract extension when it was known he wouldn’t be fit during that extension. Keogh problem was his own contribution to the episode and Derby generously offered him another paid role which he declined I believe to help him during his recovery. They paid him to play football and represent the club appropriately.

I didn't realise Keogh was just one of a set of triplets! Absolutely terrifying.
Maybe it's just me, and everyone else knew? It would explain why some of our fans used to chant "Keogh, Keogh, Keogh" at games.
Just think, Bobby Zamora could have had a play-off final hattrick to his name if we'd have played them all at once in 2014!
