So it’s either a budget on what DC wants or a budget based on what DC would expect the EFL to be comfortable.  Like I said we don’t know whether we are working within external imposed restrictions or not.  I don’t think DC is going to do anything that is not business sustainable.

DCs budget which EFL have approved as not breaching any rules.  Happy to be persuaded otherwise but I don’t sense DC would like to spend more.

Thought Nelson and cash played their worst games in some time.  Looked out of shape but in a 3

We beat Southampton away comfortably,  held our nerve in the penalties at home and beat West Brom in the final with no contentious decisions after finishing above both in the normal season .  No flukes

@Anag Rami thought s2 and s3 were great,  of course it will be a personal choice but there is nothing to dislike in s3 if you like s2.  Latter part of S3 is much more gritty and a different pace to the others though.  Closer to the Spooks series’ on BBC

Just finished Slow Horses 3. Won't say too much as others have yet to see it, though in one major regard, it's nothing like the previous seasons. Did enjoy it though, but then I think Jackson Lamb might be one of the greatest characters ever created for TV, played by one of our greatest actors.

Just finished s3 of slow horses, damn good. Can’t help but think that was the sort of show the beeb used to do.  If it did now there would be 15 mins of warnings and disclaimers.  All Mankind on apple is very watchable probably peaking with the moon base series

It wasn't Rooney that got us relegated it was MM and the EFL, He had great sympathy for those who were about to lose their jobs, Trying to console them when seeing them at PP, Paying for the transport for away games also, He bailed after the fiasco of a failed sale, I believe he was advised by Stretford his agent to call it a day at PP, Then soon after he's in the USA.
I like WR, I don't like BCFC, No tears from me if both fail.

I'm not feeling massively confident about a top 2 push.
I think it's the nature of the wins. They are slightly 'attritional'. As a one-off, game by game that's fine.  We look solid at the back,  have plenty of the ball and probe down the wing, Collins does the hard work on his own and 2nd half we have impact subs who can give us a spark.
Nothing wrong with that. Just would like the occasional 'easy' win where we click, take the game to the opposition and win easily as the better team.  Just feels currently its more percentage football and the odds aren't that stacked in our favour. I never feel that confident we will win and every game is a tight affair. 
I never feel like we are going to give anyone a spanking. To be top 2 I think we need a bit more. Definitely more inspiration from the midfield and a striker who can break the lines a bit. 
Think we are looking more 4th or 5th place at the moment.  Would so like us to kick on a little more and be a bit more aggressive in our play.
Wilson needs to start,  JJ needs more game time and get some fresh blood in the window and we could really take this league on.

So laid up at home after motorbike accident.  Binge watching a number of shows
slow horses; love it follows a group of sub level failures from MI5 as they stupidly run into danger caused by enemies and friends.  Well written with a good pace to 
for all mankind;  follows  future of space travel if the Russians had got to the moon first.  Bit slow early doors but gathers pace with some likable characters.  
silo; slow to start but gets better and second series on the way.  Rebecca Ferguson stars.  People stuck in a silo where they are told the outside world means certain death
foundation; deathly slow with occasional bursts of speed.  Has a dune element to it but far too pompous and dragged out.  Worth a watch but only with access to strong meds
monarch; never a Godzilla film style fan so watch under sufferance.  Story line has a few hooks which will make me come back I think
reacher #2; liked 1 and this is more of the same involves investigation team operating just inside law mostly against organized crime.  Easy watch

The book is great also

Series 3 of Slow Horses is well underway. Best one yet IMO

One of the most disjointed games I've ever seen in the 1st half. As well as the stop/start that suits Wycombe we also failed to find teammates with our passes. 2nd half was better but that wasn't a hard ask.

I wasn't surprised that one of the 3 MFs was subbed at HT as all 3 had been booked. Surprised it was Sibs as, IMO, he was not the worst of the 3.

That neither side had a shot on target in the first half wasn't a surprise considering the woeful performance of both sides.

The cards? NML and Hourihane both lost control of the ball and dived in to try to retrieve it, catching an opponent with their studs. Correct yellow. Bird pulled their player back to prevent him launching an attack. Yellow. Sibley, half hearted "shot" 10 yards over the ball, an age after the whistle. Following the ref's instructions from the start of the season, yellow. Personally I would have had a word and told him a repeat would see a card. She was, however, consistent when Vokes did similar in the 2nd half she carded him as well. Collo and Leahy. That all started when Leahy went down under a nothing challenge from Sibs. Leahy made far too much of it. Collo pulled him to his feet and told him, to basically, man up. That resulted in a handbags spat. Another one where a quiet word might have been sufficient under normal circumstances but, at that point, several players were getting "tasty" and the cards were likely designed to quieten things down.

The penalty given. I wish causality was still in the wording. As the Laws are currently worded, just about any contact whatsoever is deemed sufficient to award a foul. IMO, there was insufficient in Ward's contact to warrant their player going down. As it is, Welch can't be criticised for giving the penalty under the current Law.

The not given penalty. IIRC, 64 minutes, the ball comes in and Cash goes to head home. A Wycombe defender has the front of Cash's shirt in his left hand in attempt to make it hard/impossible to get a good header in and his right arm is round Cash's back, further hampering his attempt to score. Penalty. Pure and simple. Not given. The one big decision she got wrong, IMO.
The penalty shout from NML? The man played the ball. NML's run took him into the path of the slide through. Not a penalty. Another one the ref got right.
The equaliser? It was obvious what Wycombe were going to do. They loaded up their left hand side up top, we had 6 defenders lined up on their right... Wheeler went down, IMO, way too easily and the ref gave the penalty.

On another medium she was slated for her performance by most fans. Three didn't agree, saying she had a good game. Two other refs and yours truly. Her refereeing was much better than the standard of play displayed by either side.
Not a patch on recent DCFC performances. Wycombe came with a plan and it worked as it often does against us. I can't really complain at a draw. In fact, I'd call it a game neither side deserved to win.

What an appalling comment.
Look at the highlights. Every card was correct. Only the Collins one was debatable, and it was a clear penalty.

Not her best game , but the majority of fans went crazy when she allowed the Wycombe  player to stay on after treatment due to the Hourihane tackle that brought him a booking . Have a look at the rule book before you get to the game.

No wonder VAR can be so controversial 

I don’t get the references to the deer and other wildlife (ie flamingoes).  Basically toys with a natural catastrophe then forgets it instantly.why does the daughter disappear without a word, why is the fantastic fallout shelter accessible and abandoned.  Hate it more because there is a groundswell that if you don’t like it it is because you a thick.

I'm at the other end of the spectrum, i'm afraid.  Absolute tosh, watched it with the wife and both think it was a waste of over two hours.  Expected better from the cast but i must need spoonfeeding i guess 😁
