  1. Nope our business plan that DC believes is competitive that was presented to the EFL who had no objections to OUR plan
  2. Don’t be insulting. Nothing you have indicated shows we are working to an exceptional EFL restriction. We maybe of course but someone needs to prove it. I still hold to the belief that we are working within our own budget. We have used the loan pot for a purchase and pre advised EFL so they don’t assume it is another underhand trick. DC is rightly cautious and may even use some of the sale proceeds from Bird and maybe even has from Knight to help cover some of the running costs. We will see when the transfer pot gets used in the summer
  3. I’ve seen no proof whatsoever that your claims are factual. This is DCs budget and I don’t expect to see a radical change in it in the summer. No transfer takes place for any club without EFL oversight. Really happy to be proven wrong
  4. yeh, it's remembering where I just put the car keys I struggle with
  5. wasn't thin king about his decision, DCFC will cash in
  6. I think we will 'cash in' on cash in the summer if we don't go up
  7. it's just guess work. We don't know how much has been paid, we don't know whether we will be covering his new Champ pay and we don't know what the independent tribunal would have set as training compensation. If you do then please share it because it would be nice to know
  8. even with hindsight it is difficult to criticise the appointment. He can't have had a big budget at rovrum and has a track record in Div1 second to none I guess. Now the job looks too big for him regrettably
  9. I searched it but results did not show that specific page for whatever reason
  10. So by that we sold him now because we think we would get less in the summer? Obviously Bristol disagree. Surely they would only do that if they think they would have had to fight off competition in the summer. I always thought there was no way to accurately predict what the independent tribunal would assess the training compensation to be
  11. yeh I saw that but there isn't any evidence that he has played 90 mins in a real game for a long time is there?
  12. I doubt he will be sacked. DC gave him a contract and will be reluctant to pay the compo to him and his team. That money will not be in the budget.
  13. impressed with your positivity. So much worse? Only if Cashin had been sold at 1050 last night and we had the joy of carrying that money through to the summer. IMO we have lost Bird, he as a loanee is less that he was 24 hours ago. CBT cost us 300k and left us running on gas by the looks of it. Adams, played very little in the last year and ignoring that injury will be still an injury risk whilst he gains match fitness.
  14. interested to know the basis for how much you think that the independent tribunal would have valued him at. Bristol don't need him currently so hopefully have paid up in order to stop a bidding war in the summer. There so many things I don't understand. Why sell him now, why loan him back, why do we need the money now, if Bristol think there will be a bidding war why didn't we just hang on? I currently can think of nothing that makes this a good deal, perhaps someone else can suggest something
  15. What happens if he gets booed every time he touches the ball? There will be even less motivation to put a shift in
