The club should just encourage fans to do it in a respectful way, being respectful to players, coaches, officials, and visiting fans.
To warn people of criminal proceedings strikes me as mean-spirited.
The fans have been on the PP pitch before. Southampton and Brighton at home in the play-offs, and during the victory parade after Wembley in 2007, for instance.
If it’s done in the right spirit, it’s a natural way to celebrate and release those emotions.

I don’t think there’ll be a pitch invasion at Cambridge.
You can imagine though that there will be some kind of overspill if we score, especially in front of our own fans. Similar to the scenes at Port Vale.
If we go into the Carlisle game needing a result and we get one, I am 99% sure there will be a pitch invasion.
Is it the right thing to do? Personally I think it depends on how you behave yourself. If people do it respectfully, I think it can be a joyous moment and let’s face it, these moments are few and far between.
I certainly fondly remember dancing on the pitch in the rain after Southampton at home in the play-offs singing Que Sera Que Sera.

It could be a good warm up for the following year when Warne masterminds promotion to the PL.

It was an end of season tradition at the old BBG, sometimes even before the final whistle.🙄

I'll be celebrating but my emotions will be more relief that we're out of this absolute pit of a division.

Whilst others are on the pitch it will be easier to get served with celebratory beers apres match .

Celebrations, eh? Well, I know how to party!
I'll make a bold step from my armchair to the fridge and get my non-alcoholic beer.
If I totally lose it, I'll clap on my way. Quietly though, so I won't cause any distress to my neighbours.

I'm in favour of pitch invasions, ever since that wonderful day as a 10 year old boy at the Baseball ground, high fiving Ron Willems and having a cuddle with Chris Powell!
I talk about that day every single time I see a pitch invasion elsewhere. I think about it now and then for no reason.
It's a top 5 moment in my entire life and I like to think there are youngsters at Pride park who in 28 years time be looking back on the Carlise match in the same way I do that Crystal Palace match.
It doens't have to be ruined by thuggery, it can be magical

By the time I have negotiated three flights of stairs, countless doors and stewards to get on the pitch to celebrate it will be August! Sod it! I may try .....or I may not!

Thousands of fans running over the pitch might do damage to the playing surface. Actually, now I think about it, it would probably improve it.

The club just have to be prepared for it and allow it in a controlled way.
I think it’s fine to let the fans invade the pitch and soak in the moment, before returning to their seats so the players can do their lap of honour and celebrate and lift the trophy with fans who have stayed behind.

If we're promoted at PP, it'll happen. I hope it doesn't happen at Cambridge though, should we have results go our way there.
They said the same thing just before the Brighton play-off semi. I may or may not have been on the pitch that day.
