Bluedogmaz reacted to G STAR RAM in Mel Morris
Well yes, when my club is on the brink I'd like to think they arent paying someone £2.3m to sit at home doing nothing because of a poor decision when he was pissed up.
I'd have been more than happy for Keogh to be paid SSP and DCFC pay for his rehabilitation, he at least deserved that after his service.

Bluedogmaz reacted to Mostyn6 in The coronabrexit thread. I mean, coronavirus thread
Heard a theory a long time back that this lockdown is partly fuelled by Climate Change. Just stumbled across an Attenborough documentary on AppleTV where they’ve clearly been gathering footage from Day 1 of lockdown 1. Then just seen some Bill Gates foundation propaganda and it kind of makes a bit of sense.

Bluedogmaz reacted to MuespachRam in Rams Trust: A Letter to the Club
A couple of things I find astounding about this.
firstly that someone actually thinks that they can write a letter to the club on my behalf without ever speaking to me...
secondly that @Bluedogmaz has “friends”.... amazing
love you Simon. X

If Glick is involved it's a yes from me, spoke with him a fair bit when he was last here and was always really impressed with him and think he and the owners at the time got quite the short shrift from a lot of supporters for no reason
I wonder how many of those would take them back now?

What are the current legislations regarding a convicted murderer being a club chairman?
I bet Steve Gibson would think twice before opening his gob, at the very least.

Bluedogmaz got a reaction from Anon in Keogh Sacked
Irrelevant to the point I was making. In the same circumstances you would personally have pursued the claim I have no doubt.
All this crying and hating Keogh for what any sane person would have done (In pursuing their case at a tribunal) is frankly ridiculous.
The legal team advising Mel have a lot to answer for IMO.

Bluedogmaz got a reaction from cannable in Keogh Sacked
I think Keogh was quite within his rights to do what he did and was it not your favourite Football club you would probably all be saying fair play to him. In his shoes I would have done the same as most others would I am sure. It's not about just football, it's his livelihood and after the way Bennett and Lawrence were treated (Remember one of them actually broke the law) for the same incident he was right to feel aggrieved.
The emotions involved in supporting you favourite football team means we do not apply normal life rules to it but football for players is a job and I've read of a good many who don't even like the sport they just happen to be good at it. So it may be more bad news but in truth another example of mismanagement IMO rather than everyone putting the blame on Keogh.

Well the decision from the tribunal makes the answer to your question very easy.
They should have continued to have paid his contract and that action is now a matter of law after the decision.
Your kidding yourself if you think you would have acted personally any differently in the circumstances when you have a family to think about etc

So in the same circumstances you would have just written off £2.5 Million for you and your family because you loved your employer so much? ??
Hilarious - Not a chance!

I'm still waiting for the Clough Jnr and Stevie Mac dream team combo.
Clough buys the lower league or "wherever they came from" players, gets them running round Allestree, Mac coaches the technical aspects. Neither do press conferences.
