"Martin" Roper, Alf, but yes, I'd heard he was re-opening it as more of a "wet" pub (i.e no meals as such, just snacks) because the Devonshire was so popular.
-
Match kicks off at 12-30pm, I'll be in there around 12 to 12-15pm, I don't do shots, Just on the lash all day, Belper Town play their last game, If we get promoted(DCFC)...i'll be wasted This is for B4 š

Opened again last Saturday after being closed since August, The owners are the same people that own the Exeter, The Silk Mill and the Devonshire, Mark Roper who was in the band Anti Pasti is one of the owners, My Daughter knows him.
-
I renewed on day one... about an hour before receiving my personalised/specific renewal email. I've had two further ST reminder emails since, but are clearly generic, and not addressed specifically to me, so don't lay any money on such emails drying up!

Ha yes!

Derby: Clowes warned by EFL pitch invasion independent disciplinary commission that a points deduction will be considered at both Cambridge Utd and Pride Park, should fans encroach. Three man panel of Parry, Gibson, Couhig to oversee punishment. More in paper tomorrow. #reluctantnicko.
-
Never, ever felt the need to run on the pitch.
-
1. Ain't nobody gonna be returning to their seats in time for a well spectated lap of honour. 2. Ain't nobody gonna be seeing any form of a trophy being lifted at Pride Park Stadium within the next 12 months at the very least... unless we get our hands back on the BCT next season!

Cambridge Pub for Non-Ticket Holders
BathRam72 replied to DarkFruitsRam7's topic in Derby County Forum
Well that is no good then. You will spill the beer. -
Celebrations, eh? Well, I know how to party! I'll make a bold step from my armchair to the fridge and get my non-alcoholic beer. If I totally lose it, I'll clap on my way. Quietly though, so I won't cause any distress to my neighbours.

Cambridge Pub for Non-Ticket Holders

To be fair, Cambridge is closed by 6.00 not just the pubs -
The Rifleman in Belper. It has been a few years since I was in there.
-
The design of the elevated away stand at Cambridge means it will be difficult to invade the pitch as access is via steps down. It will be much easier to steward these points than across the width of a pitch level fronted stand like ours.
-
With the state of the pitch Iām doubtful it would recover by next season
-
Will you do shots to celebrate?
-
Everyone stay in their seats...if we're promoted(of course)Carlisle players go over to their supporters, DCFC players congregate around the tunnel then let Carlisle leave the field of play, DCFC players applaud all fans with a "lap of runners up honour" then go into the centre circle and start the bounce. The word "invasion" is what it is, There's people who want to see the players do the above, With an "invasion" players will not be allowed to come out until the pitch is cleared...by this time lots of fans have left the stadium to go and get pissed or home to hug their partner. KEEP OFF THE FCUCKING PITCH PS...I'll be in the Rifleman(Belper)watching on my Sky Go App š

Over here in pedants' corner, we'd like to point out that Space X still hasn't worked.

Points deduction? Oh no only us

No replays in the FA Cup from the First Round.

I hope I see one from Derby https://www.portsmouthfc.co.uk/news/2024/april/portsmouth-fc-statement-on-fa-cup-changes/ - Today

Musk has a proven track record of success which you cannot deny. People ridiculed Tesla and Space X years ago saying it would not work. When he takes SpaceX/Starlink public in five years time I expect X will be part of the deal. https://www.scottishmortgage.com/en/uk/individual-investors/holdings/space-exploration-technologies

You need to re-read my username sonny... I'm a lot older than you think! š
-
Ah, that'll be the time honoured tradition of a lap of honour by the players, staff (and their families), to the delight of all sides and corners of the stadium then. Couldn't agree more. Well said. š

Great! They have added a feature that literally every other app has had for years... Who is going to switch to using Twitter for this, when they've embedded the use of other apps for it? What is his market differentiator here that will convince people to change apps? Stuff like this really just underlines how much of a dead duck the app is. What will he add next? A calendar function, or maybe Snake

No replays in the FA Cup from the First Round.

Could be a spectacular own goal from the PL & the FA - goverrnment now demanding answers and Starmer apparently also not happy with them. In an election year that could speed up the introduction of the new regulator far more quickly than the authorities anticipated..... -
No replays in the FA Cup from the First Round.
Ram-Alf replied to Reggie Greenwood's topic in Football Forum
My take on it is, It was mooted with the EFL some time ago...but no agreement, FA/EPL then go ahead and confirm "no replays" this was "accepted" with the EFL in earlier talks š In reality, The FA and EPL know that those at the EFL have no real power and are a lame duck...so go ahead with the announcement as "all agreed" The sooner we have a regulated body the better...one hopes š
