WhiteHorseRam
Slightly bending the topic a bit, but I dimly remember a Channel 4 England program before a major tournament where they went through the last 50 odd years and picked the greatest team ever .... first 11.... GK - Seaman (at his peak) DEF - Cohen, Pearce, More, Adams (Pearce just edged Stiles) MID - Bobby Charlton, Gascoigne, Beckham, Duncan Edwards F - Shearer, Lineker. (Most controversial bit .... I agreed with one pundit who said they did the same job and would always be running into each other)
David
Started to do think about this the other day, soon realised I couldn't name one wide player in my squad, makes you wonder how different things could have been...

That shirt is English Schools, not England. He went to an English school but could never have played for England, apparently.

Just 50 miles down the road to give birth in an English hospital is no myth it's a travesty, instead we got Beckham
