Everything, not only was it 100% his fault we didnt get promoted at wembley, despite the fact everyones golden boy buxton and forsythe had numerous chances to clear it. Every goal we concede is his fault....hes had a shocking season by all accounts despite us having one of the best defences in the league.

Oh it would seem every manager sacking is down to Keogh too because hes a bad egg and causing trouble behind the scenes.

Oh and also seems like he has feigned injury and refused to play for Steve...

You get the feeling if he has two goal line clearances in keeping a clean sheet on saturday he will be criticised for not defending better and allowing a shot on target.

You also feel if he scored a hat trick on saturday he would then be ripped apart by some as he should be concentrating on defending...

He's a great player with two weaknesses :

1. Weak left foot

2. Poor scoring record on attacking corners and set pieces.

thats it ...

He's a good player but I think it would be a difficult transition for him (and the players) to no longer being captain at Derby, therefore he should go.

So many people said after the Brighton loss and McClaren's sacking that the players deserve the blame for their lack of effort, inconsistency and not playing for managers (year after year). I think it makes sense that we should start with getting rid of the  captain who's been there throughout. We can definitely do better.

Harsh in my opinion and, of course he didn't play against Brighton. Maybe not but we may have played with more spirit if he had been on the pitch.

Yes, we could do better but we don't have unlimited resources and there may be more pressing demands elsewhere.

Same as discussions on coaches, we should get Eranio in, Stimac....why? Because they were popular players which must mean they will make great coaches.

A bit like those wanting Kevin Phillips out because they think think his entire role in the coaching set up is defined by how many goals we score.

The only truly specialised coaching role is goalkeeper coach.

Come on I mean why is Phillips here? To teach defensive systems?

It could be argued that forward players would be good at teaching defenses how to cope with attackers. After all he would know what he struggled against, what positioning would be good to stop certain situations from happening, the runs to look out for, what is going through a strikers mind when the ball is in certain areas.

I questioned Phillips role sometime ago, due to the lack of goals.

It was pointed out to be by a number of people that he isnt a goal scoring coach and just a member of the team.

Fair enough, i do however recall when derby were doing well under clement that it was said in the press that his impact on the goal scoring areas had been evident.

So it seems he can take the plaudits if we are doing well, but not maybe if we arent.

Not sure you can equate what the the press say to reality mate!! Most of the press can't even spell

Most experienced player on the pitch, with him turning 22 next month this summers tournament in Poland will be his last with the U21's

Good point. I guess the difference is he was "captaining" a team of players who may have more talent but were younger and less experienced. This wouldn't be the case if he was Derby captain.

Whilst experience helps the most important consideration is personal leadership qualities and we don't know if he has these. You don't have to be the oldest or most talented.

Having said all that, personally I'd stick with Keogh but maybe he would benefit from some man management coaching (assuming he doesn't already get this).

I've suggested this before. I think it will bring the best out of WH and he definitely has the intelligence.

Course he does, went to Repton didnt' he?  Stands to reason.
