Now the one who liked us playing with the ball 30 yards in the air has gone, he will no doubt be getting better direction. Ps. I know what you mean and generally agree, none of us really know what's going on behind closed doors, but it's hardly plucking people out at random to question the contribution of the attacking coach, or whatever his title is, for the team with one of the most expensive strike forces (I assume) outside of the premier league but the worst goal scoring record. Fair point, I guess I just don't see it as a current coaching issue. I see it as combination of a lack of confidence (which is fixed by putting some chances away) and the fact that under Pearson he seemed to try and coach any attacking intent out of the team and we are still recovering. Pearson, Ranieiri, Clement, Pearson (again) and now McClaren have all deemed him worthy of a coaching role, on this basis I'd hazard to suggest that he contributes much more to the coaching team than telling our forwards to not score.
