Which January and why? Some aren't here are they?

You said Pearson was to blame for Shiite performances, well he's gone we have had 5 games since are in a worse position and currently sitting in 21st position. We do look like a team that will be battling relegation this season not promotion

How much more do you expect Mac to do in a week (and no transfers) than NP in months and a transfer window?

If the players are good enough and you place a quality coach to work with them you should see results, you should see an improved performance, if are you are in any doubt - just look at Cardiff and Warnock-were below us now above us.......

What kind of a statement is 'if the players are good enough'? Do you mean all of them then?! And if there's some that aren't well what are you expecting, you better hold your breath until January!

Good enough to compete in this league. Yes, its a team effort of lack of it.

it takes a lot longer to coach GOOD than to coach BAD

It is what I original said weeks/months ago, players have peaked and are not good enough.

A mass clear out is required and a new build required, my only concern is this will continue on till January, by then we could be in the bottom 3 and without another manager if Mel gets trigger happy.

We need to back Mac now give him time to get rid of most of the squad and rebuild with players that he wants, even if we do end up bottom 3.

It goes to show that you can't polish a turd.

Clement will go on in management, Pearson will go on in management and if sacked, so will SM.

The players are to blame and the merry go round of managers has let them get away with it.

They don't preform when they don't fancy it. They don't have the mental strength and desire to achieve and if any one dares make a change, the phone gets picked up and the man gets the boot.

Spoilt brats on big money with no desire for the status quo to change.

McClaren has been here for 10 days ffs.

In that time, there have been 3 games. Plus at least 2 recovery days, if not 3.

That leaves 4-5 DAYS for him to be working on the side. Yes, he may have worked a minor miracle last time round - but the squad that Clough built had far fewer problems than this bunch are exhibiting. And therein lies the biggest frustration for me - we KNOW these players can perform, it can't just be that they aren't good enough.

The players need to be fitter, against Leeds and Brentford they were blowing out their bums - sounds like the same happened today. That won't change in the course of less than a week's training. That'll take weeks, if not months.

Can't help but feel a squad stripping is due. Shocking recruitment has put us back a season, at least, with double the damage with the lack of emergency loans.
