I've watched Tom a lot for spurs living in Tottenham and am shocked a prem club has not come in for him. Ambitious Posted August 29, 2016 Share Posted August 29, 2016 Carroll isn't the same player we had on loan. He puts his foot in and is technically above this level. I don't think he is neccersaily what we need, but when he played in midfield with Hughes for the u21s he was the better player. He's usually in the Spurs squad and was favoured over the likes of Pritchard. I'd have him, but I don't think he solves the issues we have. needles Posted August 29, 2016 Share Posted August 29, 2016 I thought Carroll was a terrible failure last time he was here, you could see he was trying to make things happen, but he failed to pick out the right pass or execute it absolutely every time. That's a few years ago now though, and the lad must have matured and developed. I wouldn't have a problem with this, so long as we'd got a proper ugly digger in behind him. I want a DPFG. There.
