nottingram
Is it just me who doesn't want Rowett? Done well at Burton and Birmingham but if people think Clement's style was bad then his is worse. Might be better with better players but is that really a chance that's worth taking? Tombo
Deluded if you think we can get Rodgers, that'd be the dream. The guy nearly won the league with Liverpool. Also thinking the same thing with Moyes, no way he'd drop to the Championship. But fear rules my head on this one and I'm genuinely terrified of the prospect of suffering David Moyes. You thought Clement was defensive......

If people think we will play free flowing football under someone like Moyes then they will be disappointment. We would be very defensive. Rodgers' style would be better but I just cannot see either of them coming here. Both have been Champions League and top divisions managers, they would not step down unless we paid them a huge amount. Well Clement was the highest paid manager in the league wasn't he? Maybe we will do the same for the next manager as well. My first choice is Warburton though, second choice is Rowett.
Ninos
Rodgers is shooting high, but he loaned us Wisdom and Ibe and always spoke of our club as having the same characteristics of Liverpool ... great support, emphasis on playing the game the right way with attacking football etc etc. Who knows. MuespachRam
You are ALL missing the MOST IMPORTANT qualification for the new manager... Have you forgotten about Jason Roberts?? It has to be either Chris Powell, Paul Ince or Chris Ramsey.
North East Ram
Seriously, would Derby fans laud Rowett so much if it wasn't for the Derby and Burton connection. He looks competent but nothing special. We, well I, want someone decent, proven and exciting as next manager. Preferably with a great working knowledge of the championship and how to get through 46 blummin tough games.

May Contain Nuts
It has to be someone else up and coming, it can't be an experienced old head who wants to do things his way. That's what they said when they appointed Clement, appointing anyone who's 'been there, done that' would go against everything they said, and show them up to be full of ****. IGOR. IGOR. IGOR. OSR, you could be right. What does Wassall do when the new manager comes? Short and Walker must have been told something. Who will run the Academy? Presumably Peacock and a couple of others will be sweating.
North East Ram
It must be b4. He's gone very quiet and is probably explaining the blueprint to promotion with Mel right now.
The_Sheriff
Warburton left Brentford due to a disagreement about being a head coach instead of a manager. So unless Mel goes back to having a manager and not a head coach you can rule him out. Sorry guys
kash_a_ram_a_ding_dong
rodgers or warbuton for me..the only managers who play the exciting football that we and mel, describe as the derby way....personally it would be rodgers,he would be a perfect fit and he already likes the club. he could perhaps see himself doing a Leicester with us ...we have the facilities and the backing
