Not sure if they're injured, getting game time or regularly benched at the moment but if we are looking at 'proper' wingers rather than forward players who at a push can be played out wide, then what about Sinclair at Villa and Routledge (Swansea)? Loan only though.

Don't know about Routledge, but Sinclair plays quite a lot for Villa.

Would be good to have an out and out winger. We seem to have a lot of "inside forwards" and like to play too narrow sometimes. I think he could come in and do a job when Bent and Ince on the pitch, with Russell on the other wing.

We have missed Forsyths marauding runs down the left, with Christie the only one providing crosses (and even he tries to get into the box and score goals)

Unfortunately January window is only one month... Is that long enough for a war and peace ( pun intended) saga with the west brom chairman over a transfer target. We had problems with thorne Spurs had real problems trying to get their man who is now on the west brom naughty step.

DERBY County have been linked with a move for West Bromwich Albion winger Callum McManaman.

The Rams are said to be interested in a summer swoop for the 25-year-old wide man.

It is understood West Brom are willing to sell the player, who joined them for £4.75m from Wigan Athletic in January 2015.

Good player

Does this mean the same recruitment process is in place?

We already have a wealth of players in his position - if there was truth in this is id expect at least one player to leave

I suppose if we are to play 442 then maybe our current wide players might not be quite right - jeff certainly looks good for the roi on the right of midfield though

Why ? What out and out wingers do we have ? Not wide forwards ! Actually wingers ? Camara ?

Interesting that derby telegraph are reporting it, cant see that he has been linked to us in any other papers so I wonder if they know something in this.

Normally their transfer talk articles mention the paper the rumour is from whereas this one doesnt.

For them to report this it could be that a deal is quite close?
