A win against Charlton and suddenly the league form seems alright though. If we lose that though, it starts to look a very bad start seeing as Middlesbrough follow and we need to go into that positive or we may as well pack up. The Scarlet Pimpernel Posted August 13, 2015 Share Posted August 13, 2015 I think the thing is that after the capitulation of last season expectation levels of us fans changed from despair to elation due to the personnel brought in. We are all Derby fans and we naturally analyse everything about the club and team. We were expecting top notch fast fluid football from a re-energised side. The reality two games in is very disappointing. We seem to have regressed. A huge difference. You go into all competition with the aim to win, but unless you are far and away the best competitor you are not expected to.
