Tombo
Someone made a good point earlier, that as players move on to other clubs, less players of that standard remain and prices can shoot up. This is another reason to say well done to the management team at the Rams. At the end of the day, a player is worth what anyone will pay. The Rams look like they have cash to spend so teams will try to bump up the price.Shackell may sign a preseason contract with us in January or Burnley may get less if they cash in at that point..Well in this fantasy scenario, we're going to be paying over the odds since all the media outlets reported in great detail on the mystery £20m invested by a Mr. R. Ampage. They know we've got money, hence the prices shooting up
Shaftesbury Street
Ince - 4.5mJohn Eustace - £0 Berra - £3mMings - £3-4mPritchard - £5m Berra for £3m? you must be crackers! it's quite obvious that he's worth more than £5m. Didnt you know he was one of the best championship defenders last year? In the Championship force of destruction that is known as Ipswich Town FCActually come to think of it, he's probably closer to £50 million

Van der MoodHoover
Ah the world famous Continental. Their Belper Special kebab is legendary. This I must try, having gained the necessary intel from younger bro who can be relied upon in such matters. Chris Evans and co could do a lot worse than looking at some of these players and formations. They may laugh at some of the valuations but this thread has convinced me that £20 million would go a long way towards us getting £130 million.Invest £20 in a bond and you are not going to get £130 million back but would the players gel? Wages is a big one to consider.
