Statistically Derby have the best passer in the division. But who?

Derby County have the two most accurate passers in the Championship, further highlighting the quality that they have in their current squad.

Simon Dawkins leads the Championship stats for finding a teammate and is followed by Rams colleague Craig Bryson in the second tier standings.

The two players have found a teammate with over 87% of their passes, and that makes them more accurate than any other player in the Championship that has attempted 500 or more passes this season.

The stats highlight the job that Steve McClaren is doing at the iPro Stadium, with a great deal of importance placed on the Rams retaining possession.

McClaren demands that his side distribute the ball around the team quickly and it has led to Derby becoming one of the most dangerous teams in a fiercely competitive division.

George Thorne - Most expensive signing in 7 seasons

Chris Martin injured - First 20 goal a season striker since Sturridge in the 90s

Bent injured - Cover for Martin, and a very good striker in his own right

Johnny Russell injured - Arguably our player of the season

John Eustace injured - A key component to us covering Thorne, and an important player in his own right

Omar Mascarell - Blows hot and cold, but still a big loss

Jake Buxton - Player of the season

Zak Whitbread - A good defender, and another out of our defensive stocks

Raul Albentosa - New signing, missed some games too

No, doesn't seem it takes much to knock out balance out at all!

Not crap thoe is it? The amount of times I have seen Dawkins get a pass with loads of space in front of him or the crowd roaring him to at least run with it, for him then to turn around and pass it back or pass it sideways. For the chance to then go is amazing.

He's the player you bring on when your winning and want to rest some one or we keep losing the ball and we want someone to be more composed but not offer a threat.

I think he had a run of 3-4 decent games but not seen much else at home could be different away thoe .
